\nRChain core development team project manager \n\nOur team is looking for an experienced project manager / SCRUM Master to join our team as we continue the development of our blockchain project. If you are an experienced project manager / SCRUM Master with good technical understanding of blockchain technology, please consider joining our team. \n\nSkills\n\n Highly skilled with project management: planning, initiating, executing, risk management, resource management, and stakeholder communications\n\n Ability to manage an Agile team\n\n Understanding of the software project life-cycle and ability to manage it\n\n Comfortable working in a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environment\n\n Experience with QA, release management, and systems reliability engineering is a plus \n\n Experience with JIRA and confluence is a plus\n\n Experience managing a git workflow is a plus\n\n Experience managing a distributed team is a plus\n\nPosition requirements \n\n\n* Lead a distributed, Agile development team with backlog grooming \n sprint planning\n stand up facilitation\n management of velocity\n\n* Manage the effort to capture, make sense of, and accept feature requirements\n\n\n\n* Work with stakeholders to capture feature requirements\n\n* Facilitate feasibility study of proposed feature requirements\n\n* Schedule and resource research and development of new features\n\n* Convert and prioritize proposed and feasible feature requirements to the backlog\n\n\n\n* Act as a community liaison for the core development team\n\n\n\n* Provide weekly updates on the work of the development team during the RChain community call\n\n* Provide, when asked, updates on the development team’s work to the RChain board of directors or other stakeholders\n\n* Monitor and respond to conversation in all public discord channels under \n Developer\n\n* Plan for and facilitate weekly RNode community test sessions\n\n* Maintain the RChain development wiki and Jira for stakeholder use\n\n\n\n* Manage the release of software\n\n\n\n* Work with the development team to test and release software at the end of each sprint.\n\n* Document the contents of the release in release plans\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n* Update the roadmap with the release\n\n* Notify RChain communications of the release\n\n* Announce the release in relevant developer channels\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n* Manage the RChain public testnet\n\n\n\n* Manage the SRE team in administration and maintenance of the RChain public \n testnet\n\n* Act as a liaison for users of the RChain public testnet\n\n\n\n* Participate in the work to administer the development team\n\n\n\n* Review and approve submitted timesheets\n\n* Participate in the hiring/firing process as needed \n\n* Competencies:\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n* Leadership Skills\n\n* Communication skills\n\n* Technical Knowledge\n\n* Organization skills\n\n* Attention to Detail\n\n* Multitasking\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n* Education: \n\n\n\n* Bachelors degree in a field such as Information Technology, Software Development Management, Software Engineering or Computer Science, or similar.\n\n* Location: \n The position works from a remote location suitable to the incumbent provided they have sufficient and reliable internet access. \n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
