\nParadigm, based in Bend, Oregon, seeks a senior level Ruby engineer to lead Ruby on Rails development and mentor junior developers. We are a growing company in an amazing city known for it's community of outdoor enthusiasts, craft beers, and spectacular surroundings.\n\nParadigm is building a technical team with strengths in UAV/UAS flight operations; imagery analysis, with experts in hyperspectral imagery, Geospatial data, ENVI, ArcGIS and ArcGIS Server; 3D modeling, visualization, and training tools; web application development, and iOS development.\n\nOur company was formed to tackle the big data challenges associated with unmanned and other data collection systems that are coming almost every day now. We have the budget – and luxury – to assemble a team of the best talent that we can find. Our work in the future is partially in place, but also very much TBD – and we’re interested in your ideas about where we should be growing and working. We’ve been lucky to bring people together that like to work hard and play hard. \n\nWe’re providing city level pay and benefits, with the added quality of life in Bend. There is really no such thing as “commuting” here; most neighborhoods are within 10 minutes of the office, and within 15 minutes is a world class network of mountain bike trails; flat- and white-water river; and more than 50 kilometers of cross country ski trails.
