Our primary responsibility is to make sure that folks who use our official language clients have a phenomenal experience when integrating with any part of the Elastic Stack.\n\nWhat you will be doing\n\n\n* Be the face of the Elasticsearch official PHP language clients\n\n* Maintain and moderate the PHP clients\n\n* Contribute to other language clients as appropriate\n\n* Drive community engagement and adoption\n\n* Keep pace with Elastic Stack releases\n\n* Build out our continuous integration tests and dashboard\n\n* Help maintain and develop best practices for language client development\n\n\n\n\nWhat you will bring\n\n\n* Strong PHP experience\n\n* Strong experience in other development languages (such as Perl, Python)\n\n* Ready to be part of a dedicated distributed team; self-motivated and having strong collaboration and communication skills\n\n* Strong interest with what goes on in the PHP developer ecosystem, with good knowledge of popular frameworks\n\n* Enthusiasm for picking up new technologies\n\n* Happy to get involved with our community; not afraid to reach out and be reached out to\n\n* Experience with the Elastic Stack is useful, but not mandatory\n\n\n\n\nAdditional Information\n\n\n* Competitive pay and benefits.\n\n* Stock options\n\n* Catered lunches, snacks, and beverages in most offices\n\n* An environment in which you can balance great work with a great life\n\n* Passionate people building great products\n\n* Employees with a wide variety of interests\n\n* Distributed-first company with employees in over 34 countries, spread across 18 time zones, and speaking over 30 languages!
