Our ideal candidate feels strongly about leveraging emerging technologies to make a significant impact on the future of the podcast industry. Fundamentally, we are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with a background in systems, programming and networking.\nThat is excited about tackling ambitious challenges.\nAt ART19 we are deeply committed to building a diverse team of mission-driven technologists to take our cutting edge products to the next level.\n* Full time position\n* Oakland, CA (Remote OK, U.S Only)\n\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\n* Participate in all phases of system development, deployment, configuration, and monitoring including performance and availability, alerting, data integrity, security and capacity planning.\n* Plan, orchestrate and launch infrastructure at scale.\n* Build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring and operations.\n* Work with technical stakeholders to define platform capabilities and best practices\nEXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:\n* 5+ years of relevant experience\n* Experience with the AWS ecosystem\n* Experience with Docker and container based infrastructure\n* Intimate knowledge of Linux debugging, scripting, and configuration management\n* Experience with Chef\n* Experience with Ruby on Rails\n* Great technical and problem-solving skills\n* Experience with security principles and networking\n* Experience supporting big scale applications\n* Experience with Terraform\n\nPREFERRED:\n* Familiarity with complete Hashicorp stack (Consul, Packer, Vault, Terraform, etc.)\n* Experience with HAProxy\n* Experience with Nginx\n* Experience with Postgres\n* Experience with Redis\n* Experience with Vertica\n* CI/CD systems experience\n* Interest in podcasts \n\nPlease mention the words **INFLICT FILTER BACON** when applying to show you read the job post completely (#RMTguOTcuOS4xNzU=).
