\nTrinity Mobile Networks is seeking a Professional Services/DevOps Engineer to aid our customers in the installation, evaluation, adoption, and upkeep of our product, Jumpnet. A successful candidate will have a strong technical background and excellent communication skills. The candidate also must be willing to travel to customer locations. In addition to the customer facing side of the role, the engineer will be involved in packaging and testing the product delivered to our customers. They will assist in the design configuration of software deployment and communication and provide valuable input to system architecture. In addition, the candidate will assist in maintaining the servers and machines running our software, as well as setting up new ones. Our products and their reach are rapidly growing, so a successful candidate should be flexible, innovative, and dedicated.\n\nResponsibilities\n\n* Advise and assist customers with the installation, integration, and scaling of our platform (may require periods of intensive on-call availability and/or travel)\n\n* Share on-call responsibilities\n\n* Aid in maintaining and developing Trinity's internal infrastructure for collaboration, development, testing, and monitoring\n\n* Support the development team with customer feedback, automation, tooling, and documentation\n\n\n\n(3)–(4) will be shared with the rest of the infrastructure team.\n\nSkills & Requirements\n\n\n* Extensive experience in Linux systems administration, in traditional datacenters as well as public and private clouds\n\n* Experience with virtualization platforms, especially OpenStack\n\n* Familiarity with IP networking and troubleshooting, especially in virtualized environments\n\n* Proficiency in Python and Bourne-compatible shell-scripting\n\n* Experience in CI/CD automation such as GitLab CI and Jenkins\n\n* Experience with tools for configuration management (e.g., Salt, Ansible) and orchestration (Terraform, Heat)\n\n* Strong communication skills for work with customers\n\n\n\n\nPreferred Experience\n\n\n* Hands-on experience with OpenStack environments using Open vSwitch–, VLAN–, and VXLAN–based tenant networking\n\n\n\n\nSignificant familiarity with IP switching and routing, including dual-stacked IPv4–IPv6 networks, BGP, etc.\n\n\n* Experience reviewing and producing technical documentation and diagrams\n\n* Past work in an ISP, NSP/datacenter, and/or telecommunications context\n\n* Experience in a customer facing position\n\n\n\n\nPreference will be given to candidates based in, or willing to relocate to, the US Northeast, especially New York, Connecticut, and Massachusetts, or Denver. Candidates with prior remote experience will be considered for remote work.
