Join us!\n\nWhy You Matter\n\nCb products are an integral part of our customers’ defense against attacks and ensuring that these products are working correctly and optimally configured is critical.  Engineers specifically dedicated to the Voice of the Customer (VoC) work as part of an agile team to quickly diagnose and resolve issues impacting our customers.\n\nWe’re hiring a Senior Software Engineer with kernel-level programming knowledge and strong troubleshooting skills to incorporate the Voice of the Customer (VoC) into our award-winning products.  As a VoC Engineer, you’ll solve complex software problems by reviewing large bodies of code, quickly assessing intricate environments, and designing solutions on the fly that incorporate data compiled from customers’ expectations, preferences, and aversions. By leveraging data about customers’ wants and needs, we can more effectively prioritize activities that improve overall customer satisfaction. If you are passionate abouttroubleshooting and providing consistent customer satisfaction, this role is for you!\n\nWhat You’ll Do\n\nYou’ll work closely with Product Management, Professional Services, and Customer Support teams, to shorten time-to-resolution of customer reported product issues.  The ideal candidate will be energized by solving challenging problems across the Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems, helping our team, company, and customers succeed with the tools we provide.\n\n\n* Troubleshoot and perform a root cause analysis of customer reported product issues (including: examining product logs, system logs, software traces, core dumps, memory dumps, and other system debug information)\n\n* Communicate clearly and effectively with internal stakeholders as well as customers to drive resolution of technical issues\n\n* Be proactive, self-motivated and attentive to detail when solving highly complex level of escalated problems\n\n* Work well under pressure in a highly kinetic environment\n\n\n\n\nWhat You’ll Bring\n\n\n* 10+ years software development experience, including low-level kernel programming knowledge\n\n* Experience developing and supporting enterprise software written in C/C++ on Windows and Linux platforms\n\n* Expert knowledge of debugging and troubleshooting tools such as WinDbg\n\n* Practical experience with OO Python and Java\n\n* Code management and bug tracking tools\n\n* BSCS degree or equivalent\n\n\n\n\nPreferred Experience:\n\n\n* Familiarity with reverse engineering, threat detection, performance, and quality\n\n* Knowledge of security software\n\n* Experience coding REST API’s;.NET; SQL; Bash, javascript, PHP and perl\n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n No salary data published by company so we estimated salary based on previous jobs related to Developer, Senior and Engineer jobs that are similar:\n\n $70,000 — $120,000/year\n
