\nGENERAL DESCRIPTION\n\nThe Software Developer is responsible for analyzing the needs of users, and designing, developing, testing, deploying and maintaining software installations in ENERGY worldnet, Inc. (EWN) computing environment. The Software Developer must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.\n\nESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES\n\n\n* Maintain system integrity with routine refactoring and optimization of AngularJS and C#\n\n* Adhere to coding standards and contribute to enhancing them as needed\n\n* Document new and existing processes\n\n* Work with business analysts regarding current or future processes, issues, or requests\n\n* Work with SQL developers to facilitate the communication between the application and the database\n\n* Share daily updates with the technology team via SCRUM (work completed, work pending, and/or impediments)\n\n* Research new technology and present ideas to the team\n\n* Propose projects, assist in timeline creation and may mentor developers\n\n* Collaborate with other team members\n\n* Analyzes and completes development tasks as assigned\n\n\n\n\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS \n\n\n* At least 1 year of experience in Software Development\n\n* Experience with JavaScript\n\n* Experience with C#\n\n* Experience with CSS/HTML\n\n\n\n\nREQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES \n\nKnowledge of:\n\n\n* Object-oriented programming\n\n* Source control methodology\n\n* Web application architecture\n\n\n\n\nSkill in:\n\n\n* Analyzing information\n\n* General programming\n\n* Software design, software debugging, software documentation, and software testing\n\n* Critical thinking and problem solving\n\n* Documentation (Word, Excel, Markdown, etc.)\n\n\n\n\nAbility to:\n\n\n* Organize and plan work independently\n\n* Multi-task and context-switch effectively between different activities and teams\n\n* Communicate and collaborate effectively\n\n\n\n\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND KSA’s\n\n\n* Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in related field OR comparable experience\n\n* Experience with ASP.NET Web API 2\n\n* Experience with AngularJS\n\n* Experience with Dependency Injection\n\n* Experience with Unit Testing\n\n* Knowledge of Agile development model (SCRUM, work assignments, timelines, and team structure\n\n\n\n\nJOB SPECIFICATIONS\n\n\n* FLSA Classification (Exempt, Non-exempt): Exempt\n\n* Must be US citizen or green card holder\n\n* Must NOT reside in California or Massachusetts\n\n* Travel Requirement (% of 40-hour work week): Quarterly meetings\n\n* Remote work eligible: Yes\n\n* Shift: 7am - 4pm, 8am - 5pm or 9am - 6pm M-F\n\n* Environment: Although this position is remotely located, the person hired for this position will have to travel monthly to work out of our main office in Decatur, TX. They will physically work in Texas 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. one (1) week per month during their probationary period (first 90 days of employment).
