Macon Travel Easy has a great problem with more business than we can currently handle. We are looking for a mission-focused, strategic, and process-minded leader who will define the process and implement the infrastructure/systems needed to support substantial growth over the next two years. S/he will continue to build and manage effective and streamlined administrative/financial systems, including financial and accounting; but also could lead legal, information technology (IT), and human resources (HR).\n\nFinancial Management:\nReview and approve preparation and finalization of monthly and annual financial reporting materials and metrics for MTE.\nOversee budgeting, financial forecasting, and cash flow for administration, existing programs, and proposed new sites.\nManage one full-time accounting assistant; hire and retain support staff as needed in the future.\nCoordinate all audit activities.\n\nAdministrative Leadership and Management\nServe as a business partner to the CEO on the organization’s financial, budgeting, and administrative processes—including HR, payroll, and benefits functions—with an eye to continuously developing and improving systems.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nReporting to the CEO, the COO will lead all internal operations and will have the following responsibilities:\n\nWorking in partnership with the CEO, create the strategic five-year plan and implement new processes and approaches to achieve it\nServe as the internal leader of the organization\nProvide for all staff a strong day-to-day leadership presence; support an open-door policy among all staff\nInstill a human capital development and “coaching” culture within MTE; upgrade human resources functions including: training, development, compensation and benefits, employee relations, performance evaluation and recruiting\nDevelop an accounting system that provides the organization with quick access to financial information and enables strategic budgeting\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
