SwiftIQ is looking for a Front-end Engineer who possesses both cutting edge skills and an ongoing thirst for knowledge. Our ideal candidate is highly motivated, always learning, and always ready to both share their knowledge with the team and expand their horizons.\n\nAs a part of our growing startup, you will play an integral part in enhancing the technical foundation of our product creating the client-side application code that will provide our customers with a world-class user experience. Our engineering team works hard, moves swiftly, and demands excellence. We work very collaboratively, sharing knowledge and learning from each other daily. As a Front-End Engineer, you will be contributing towards many externally facing parts of our platform, so attention to detail is required.\n\nResponsibilities\nWork closely with existing UX/UI architecture and engineering team to implement state-of-the-art front-end solutions in the big data industry. Tasks could include:\n- Create and update responsive SPAs\n- Add and implement D3 or other charting tools\n- Create a graphical interface for building queries\n- Enhancing security/permissions across all applications\n- Maintain and enhance developer portal / APIs\n- Consume backend data via REST APIs \n- Embrace emerging standards while promoting best practices in order to push the limits of what a browser can do\n- Manage your own time, and work well both independently and as part of a team\n- Teach your expertise to others on the team\n\nRequirements\n-2-5+ years of experience building complex, high scale web applications\n-Deep expertise in JavaScript, HTML5/CSS3, and related web technologies\n-Considerable experience with Angular, Bootstrap, Java\n-Experience with some or all of: D3, GWT, jQuery\n-Strong sense of UX/UI design and understanding of responsive design\n- Strong data skills: loading, transforming, joining, querying (SQL)\n\nBonus Points\n- Background in data analysis and/or visualization \n- Experience with machine learning algorithms \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
