\nMy name's Dayne, I'm a programmer from South Africa currently living in Canberra, Australia. Four months ago my brother and I started working on a project with the potential to radically shift culture in the direction of openness and accountability.\n\nWe've got a bit of investment, and an incredible team working with us. We've been working with a designer for the last 6 weeks, we recently hired two developers, and we've got two great mentors advising us (including an ex-Google senior programmer, and a great tech CEO).\n\nThis is the team that will take us to our beta launch in May, so we won't be hiring again until at least June... 'Well why am I wasting my time reading this damn ad then!?' you must be asking.\n\nI posted this ad up a couple weeks ago, and it's been incredibly valuable. The quality of the applicants has been exceptional (compared to oDesk, Freelancer, etc), and it's led to the hire of both our back and front end developers. So, with 2 weeks before it expires I thought I'd repurpose it again to get interest from developers who would like to be considered for positions that'll open up later in the year.\n\nI'm particularly interested in developers with experience creating native apps for Android and iOS. Though if we experience good growth we'll be looking for developers with experience in our entire stack (see below).\n\nNecessary personality traits and experience:\n> Hard working & 100% honest\n> Passionate about freedom of speech & information. If you think that the EU's 'Right to Be Forgotten' legislation is a good thing, or that Assange and Snowden are bad guys, you probably won't like what we're doing.\n> Hackers please - I'm looking for someone who could have done the front end development of sites like AirBnB or Freelancer.\n> Must be smart. The interview process will include a programming and logic interview with an ex-Google senior programmer.\n> Must show evidence of having worked on a major project from start to finish\n> Extensive experience is not necessary, we're more interested in building a team of smart people who share our passion for Karma. \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
