The Log Correlation Engine processes, classifies, stores, and correlates log data for customers to identify and eliminate network threats. As a QA Engineer, you will work with the QA team in building comprehensive automated and manual testing capabilities.\n\nTenable is seeking a Software Engineer to join our Nessus Vulnerability Research Team. This team is responsible for writing security plugins which check customer systems for vulnerabilities announced by software vendors. Your role supports the research effort by developing and maintaining systems for generating these plugins automatically when possible. \n\nCan you do this consistently?\n\n\n* Automation of data ingestion, data processing and code generation\n\n* Develop plugins to be utilized by Nessus that will recognize missing security patches\n\n* Analyze vendor data formats and coordinate with vendors to obtain necessary security data\n\n* Determine and develop fixes for individual and systemic issues in generated code.\n\n\n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
