What Will You Be Doing?\nIn short: working with a world class team developing ever improving software that delights users.\n\nUsually, we care more about how well you think than what languages or libraries you know. However, for this specific job, we are looking for a JavaScript expert. We already have some great JavaScript developers, and we are looking for an experienced developer to join the team. You would be a key person in making technical decisions about the software. We want someone who will be able to debug JavaScript race conditions, explain declaration hoisting to another developer, and generally be a technical lead in the team.\n\nDepending on your career goals you will doing a mix of:\n- Acting as a JavaScript subject matter expert/mentor to strengthen the team as a whole.\n- Creating properly built web and mobile applications our users love.\n- Building highly interactive front-end components for both mobile and web platforms.\n- Designing and building web application "plumbing".\n- Exploring new technologies and techniques to improve the product and team.\n- Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team of electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, data scientists, and software developers.\n- Leveraging your UI/UX experience to design, test, and ensure a well designed system that make our users love their jobs.\n- Planning how we bring our designs to life, and participating in daily scrums.\n\nMore Specifics:\n- Formal education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, related technical field, or an awesome self-taught ability.\n- 5+Years developing clean, properly built, well designed web and/or mobile applications.\n- HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript experience including modern JS libraries.\n- Fluency in one or more of: Python, Node, Ruby, AngularJS.\n- Some experience with databases.\n- Experience with various support tools such as Git, CI, and Grunt/Gulp. \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
