TRENIQ (www.treniq.com), an early stage start-up, is a social commerce platform in the home furnishing segment.\n\nOur vision is to create a trusted community, for designers to showcase and consumers to discover, trendy and unique products from across the world. \n\nWe are looking for a young, passionate Ruby / Rails Developer and a technology evangelist to be a part of our team at trenq.com, a London based social platform. \n\nThis opportunity brings with it learning’s and innovation in the areas of e-commerce, big data (visual analytics), AR and semantic search.\n\nWe are a highly motivated, tech-enthusiastic team and you will take a lead role in all the development activities within the company. You will also be one of the founding members of the organisation. \n\nKey Skills\n\n• Strong ruby and rails experience \n• Working with JavaScript, JQuery, ImageMagick, Spree and related technologies\n• Experience with RESTful services and API’s\n• Knowledge of deployment using Capistrano\n• Good understand of OO concepts and HTTP protocol \n• Proficient with Unix based systems. Managing processes, cron jobs and deploying to servers\n• Experience with automated unit testing \n\nKey Competencies & Responsibilities\n\n• Burning passion for development \n• A technical guru who is looking to push the boundaries of innovation and create new and amazing products\n• Ability to work well within a team \n• Keen to learn new technologies\n\n\nDesirable experience \n\nWhilst the below skills are not mandatory, any experience is a plus\n\n• Ansible & Spree commerce\n• Cloud hosting services like Amazon & Rackpsace\n• Mobile development\n• E-commerce and/or data analytics experience\n\nThe offer\n\nJoin an amazing start-up and grow with us.
