**DevOps Engineer Job Description:**\nJoinpiggy.com is looking for the highest caliber devops engineer to join its technical team. The ideal candidate will have overlapping hours with all US timezones.\n\n**Job Functions:**\n* Share responsibility for health, scalability and availability of our cloud services\n* Automate deployment of AWS infrastructure and services\n* Select, architect, implement and maintain monitoring, alerting and reporting\n* Ensure cloud architecture meets scalability, availability and cost requirements\n* Be a mentor to team members on good operational practices\n* Respond to alerts and other system monitoring tools as final escalation point of support\n\n**Job Requirements:**\n* Overlapping hours with US timezones\n* 2-8 years of experience managing cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS\n* Solid networking knowledge\n* Strong scripting skills (JavaScript/Ruby/Python/shell)\n* Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service\n* Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity experience a plus\n* Recommend and implement best practices for application support in production environments\n* Excellent troubleshooting skills, especially within website, application servers, network, and databases\n* Familiarity with security design and process\n* Prior vendor management experience\n\n**Experience With**\n* Continuous integration tools (Jenkins, Bamboo, Wercker)\n* Configuration management tools (Chef, Ansible, Puppet)\n* Containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS ECS)\n* Infrastructure automation tools (CloudFormation, TerraForm)\n* Setting up database and other open source software (Postgres, Spark, Storm, Elasticsearch, Solr, etc...)\n\n**How to Apply**\nPlease send resumes to
