The Web Developer will be responsible for the development of customer focused websites and applications and will work closely with the technical leads and architects to deliver high-quality solutions. Enthusiasm, attention to detail and drive to learn are essential skills for this role.\n\nRequired Skills\n2+ years experience in developing customer-facing websites.\nHands-on knowledge of the PHP programming language and MySQL\nCMS (preferably Wordpress) and/or e-Commerce development\nExposure to front end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, Javascript)\nAbility to follow technical specifications and production processes\nExperience with distributed version control systems (Mercurial,SVN, GIT)\nExcellent time management, problem solving, teamwork, and communication skills.\nDesirable Skills\nPHP frameworks such as CodeIgniter Experience with major 3rd party APIs (Facebook Open Graph, Twitter, Instagram, Google Maps, YouTube, etc?) Front-end technologies including Boilerplate, Modernizr, SASS and Angular.js Experience with responsive web design. Agency experience/ working with visual & UX designers\nFront-end developers\nThe Front-end Developer will be responsible for accurately recreating the look and feel of the designs given to them by the creative team. They will need to communicate well with the web developers to integrate their work with the back-end solutions. Again, enthusiasm, attention to detail and drive to learn are essential skills for this role.\nEssential Skills\n2+ years hands on front-end development experience utilising content management systems.\nSolid HTML5, CSS3 with a strong grasp of front-end development for mobile\nKnowledge of object-oriented JavaScript, and JavaScript libraries and frameworks\nCMS (preferably Wordpress) or PHP frameworks such as CodeIgniter\nStrong interest in emerging front end technologies\nSolid understanding of cross-browser/platform issues and code solutions.\nDesirable Skills\nUnderstanding of Accessibility\n
