We're looking for a Lead SDK Engineer to own design, developer experience, and implementation of the libraries our customers use to interact with Rollbar from their code.\n\nAbout us:\n\n\n* We help thousands of developers find and fix bugs quickly\n\n* Our open source libraries are used by some of the best engineering teams in the world, including Twilio, Heroku, Instacart and Twitch.\n\n* Our backend handles billions of errors with low latency and high reliability\n\n* Our low latency processing pipeline allows developers to discover and drill down across millions of errors in real-time\n\n\n\n\nOur tech stack:\n\n\n* Open source libraries/SDKs for Javascript, Ruby, PHP, Python, Android, iOS, Java, .NET\n\n* React, Webpack, Sass, Python, Node.js\n\n* MySQL, ElasticSearch, Redis, Kafka, Memcache\n\n* GitHub, CircleCI, Travis CI, Rollbar\n\n\n\n\nYou will:\n\n\n* Own development and maintenance of our open source libraries (“SDKs”)\n\n* Define the common specification that all libraries should adhere to, and work to implement that spec in each SDK\n\n* Manage contractors and collaborate with outside contributors (e.g. reviewing pull requests) to aid the above efforts\n\n* Work with the Rollbar Core Team to implement new Rollbar features in the SDKs and relay feedback back to the core team\n\n* Help customers use the SDKs by writing docs, triaging questions, and investigating bug reports\n\n* Research and prototype integrations with new languages and frameworks\n\n* Have fun while releasing software used directly by thousands and indirectly by millions\n\n\n\n\nYou are:\n\n\n* A polyglot programmer: strong in at two programming languages, familiar with many, and have an appetite for learning new languages and frameworks\n\n* A tinkerer: you develop a deep understanding of the things you work with, and you find ways to make them better\n\n* Experienced as a technical lead\n\n* Experienced with API design\n\n* Always improving and welcoming of feedback\n\n* Proud of the products you build and the impact they have for our customers\n\n\n\n\nBonus points:\n\n\n* Open source experience - experience as a maintainer/core contributor of open source projects\n\n* Experience on a distributed team in a lead role\n\n* Experience with Rollbar in your personal or professional projects\n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
