\nTeam Size / Dynamics\n\n\n* You will be working with a small distributed team, and a variety of technical team members (systems-, developer-, and QA- groups)\n\n* We are collaborative workers, and use Kanban for task management, and daily Stand Up meetings for coordination\n\n\n\n\nTechnical Environment\n\n\n* We are heavily invested in Microsoft technology with Windows Server, .NET, and SQL Server serving as the foundation for our systems\n\n* We maintain & develop solutions on a variety of platforms, including mobile, web, and desktop\n\n* SQL Server 2005-2012R2 (Standard & Enterprise)\n\n* Variety of SQL Server technologies, including: SSRS, SSIS, SSAS, mirroring, replication, clustering\n\n* Currently in the 500GB individual database realm; preparing for 1TB realm\n\n* We have a variety of custom internal applications (VB6 through .NET 4 and EF) that interface with SQL Server\n\n\n\n\nResponsibilities\n\n\n* Contribute to ongoing development of in-house applications & databases\n\n* Architect, design and build various database components, including scripts & sprocs\n\n* Perform query/sproc optimization\n\n* Writing PowerShell scripts to automate day-to-day tasks\n\n* Develop & Maintain SSRS reports, SSIS packages, SSAS cubes\n\n* Care & Feeding of many databases across multiple SQL Server instances\n\n* Maintain accurate tracking of issues and work items\n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
