I'm publishing OurWorldInData.org โ A web publication that presents the empirical evidence of how living conditions have changed around the world until now. The project is based at the University of Oxford (UK).\n\n\nFor this web publication I'm looking for a web developer with a focus on data visualisation (d3.js experience is essential) to help expand the capabilities of the web site and visualisations.\n\n\nIn terms of employment we are exceptionally flexible. The web developer could even work remotely.\n\n## Skills & Requirements\n\n* Very interested and experienced with online data visualization โ especially with the visualization of time-series and panel data.\n\n* Very good knowledge of Javascript and D3.js and Backbone.js, or another MVC framework.\n\n* Knowledge of NVD3.js, and datamaps is an advantage.\n\n* Knowledge of HTML, CSS, PHP, WordPress and ideally Laravel.\n\n* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
