\nJob Description:\n\nA Devops/Tools Engineer is expected to be equally adept in the operations sphere and the development sphere, and will spend significant time working in both. You will carry primary responsibility for the deployment of our software and the maintenance and monitoring of our production systems. You will also be expected to create the custom tooling we need to build, test, deploy, and monitor our systems, both in production and in our test environments.\n\nYou will be working hand in hand with the development and QA teams to define and maintain our build pipeline, develop automated integration and acceptance tests, and help move the organization towards a continuous deployment model.\n\nIdeal candidates will be able to code proficiently in a wide variety of programming and scripting languages, be able to design, configure, and manage large clustered Linux environments, create and maintain automated deployment scripts, and troubleshoot complex systems.\n\n___\n\nRaise Engineering:\n\nOur software engineers are solving problems at scale for our online, gift card marketplace. Our user base and e-commerce transactions are growing exponentially. The challenges of keeping our services running 24x7, and adding new features to accelerate our business, all while moving incrementally to a continuous-deployment, microservice architecture are all awesome problems to solve. An understanding and commitment to our team approach to software development is of primary importance. Teams build software here. Besides obvious technical strengths, we look for passion for well-crafted software, professionalism, drive to learn new technologies, the joy of building solutions for our business and users, and the desire to cultivate a challenging, innovative, and supportive engineering culture.\n\nEngineering teams at Raise have a great deal of autonomy and independence, with real ownership of the products and features they build. This role requires a unique balance of software-development skill and product sense — so the ideal candidate will have experience building substantial customer-facing products or services.\n\nImpact- Raise is an engineering culture at its core. Our goal is to create an optimal environment where engineers regularly see and feel the difference they make.\n\nElegance - We care about code. Every engineer, from leadership to individual contributor, code on a daily basis.\n\nTackling Challenges - We don’t believe in being fast followers. Instead we’re focused on creating amazing experiences for customers while solving problems they knew existed.\n\nProfessional Growth - Each engineer has an individual career plan carved out for them upon joining Raise. Whether you want to be an individual contributor or have aspirations for leadership, we’ll work to help you realize your career goals.\n\nSmart Team - Great people want to work around great people. We understand that, so we’ve created a thorough and systematic hiring process to ensure we only hire top quality engineers.\n\nDisruptive Goals - Raise engineers think BIG. We never settle for mediocrity and are excited about our future. \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
