\nThe Senior Software Engineer, Client Implementation is responsible for understanding client implementation requirements, design and build/tweak systems per client need, coding, leading a team through project management and support. This role reports to the Senior Director of Client Implementation. This position is based in Reston, Va., and relocation is not budgeted.\nThe individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities to be able to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.\n * Oversee client system integration technological needs for SOC. Responsible for ensuring that the data assets of the client organization are getting integrated with SOC in achieving its strategic goals. \n * Responsible for building Web applications using Single Page Application (SPA) paradigm.\n * Be part of a client system integration shop through the requirement, design, development, QA SDLC cycles with a focus on AngularJS , C# Web API, associated web technologies, and relational database technologies\n * Hands-on leader in designing and development of software solutions and software requirements related core components, foundational frameworks and SOA, based services.\n * Help to resolve questions of program intent, software requirements, and inclusion of internal checks and controls\n * Develop software solutions using industry best practices and in the area of security and performance in an web and SOA architecture environment\n * Lead aspects of our internal applications to ensure consistency, quality, architectural integrity, scalability, and availability \n * Participate in the full systems life cycle with solution design, development, implementation, and product support using scrum and other agile methodologies.\n * Maintain source-code repository, and participate in deployment of code into production.\n * Participate in development process improvements of our continuous integrations services.\n * Identifies new technologies that will benefit short and long term department goals. Provides thought leadership in the areas of strategy and implementation.\n * Strong problem solving and analytic skills \n * Excellent presentation, written and verbal communications skills \n * Ability to work across functional teams to gather requirements needed for the design of the solution\n * Ability to work on multiple, concurrent projects of varying size and scope and core team activities in a fast paced environment\n * Ability to build consensus and collaborate with others\n * Ability to meet objectives within short timeframes and prioritize conflicting deadlines\n * Ability to work independently. \n \n\n\nBenefits\n\nAs part of its total compensation strategy, Specialists On Call provides its employees with a comprehensive benefits package.
