\nWe are looking for a Software Engineer to join our backend engineering team. You will demonstrate Agile practices with an extraordinary engineering team, and get exposure to many different leading-edge technologies such as Python, Redis, Docker, Jenkins, Kafka and Solr. You will also be exposed to a variety of AWS cloud technologies, and will make an impact building core backend services for the OfferUp application.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\n\n* Collaborate with mobile development teams (iOS and Android)\n\n* Participate in development projects across several different teams and systems (Data, Ops, QA, etc.), including new features\n\n* Dedicated to optimizing the performance and scalability of the OfferUp infrastructure as the service continues to grow\n\n* Help develop OfferUp’s internal tools and dashboards\n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
