Remote Supply Chain Live Operations Senior Specialist
About the Team\n\nDashMart is a new team at DoorDash focused on building a new type of convenience store, offering both household essentials and local restaurant favorites to our customersโ doorsteps. \nAbout the Role\n\nWeโre looking to hire a Supply Chain Live Operations Specialist who will be responsible for managing incoming requests to the supply chain team. The Senior Specialist will identify data trends, analyze root causes and build continuous improvement strategies to enhance our current JIRA form used by internal DoorDash teams. The Senior Specialist will work to understand customer needs and translate those into the ticket management system. A core responsibility of the Senior Specialist will be to act as the escalation point of contact from the local team, supply chain team, and other internal cross functional teams. You will report into the Associate Manager of Buying Support on our Supply Chain team in our DashMart organization. Once our offices reopen, we expect this role to be hybrid with some time in-office and some time remote.\nYouโre excited about this opportunity because you willโฆ\n\n\n* Lead development of processes as well as identify and deliver productivity savings through automations and process improvements\n\n* Conduct root cause analyses to ensure we meet customer service SLAs (service level agreements)\n\n* Analyze and interpret data for reporting requirements, identify gaps in processes, and provide achievable and sustainable solutions\n\n* Operationally identify, lead, and implement process improvements to drive performance\n\n* Identify non-value adding processes and suggest or seek solutions\n\n* Partner with operations and management teams to assess knowledge gaps as well as the operational impacts of your decisions, and iterate based on data\n\n* Manage day to day escalation pathways and work with internal/external partners to scale processes along with company growth\n\n\n\nWeโre excited about you becauseโฆ\n\n\n* Bachelorโs degree preferred\n\n* 2-4 years of experience in purchasing, operations and/or supply chain\n\n* Skilled in priority setting and have the ability to break down complex problems and projects into manageable goals\n\n* Proven track record of leading initiatives, working cross-functionally to achieve goals, and succeeding in a team environment\n\n* Detail-oriented and organized\n\n* Effective written and verbal communication skills\n\n* Advanced Excel skills and be willing to learn SQL\n\n\n\nAbout DoorDash\n\nAt DoorDash, our mission to empower local economies shapes how our team members move quickly, learn, and reiterate in order to make impactful decisions that display empathy for our range of usersโfrom Dashers to merchant partners to consumers.
