Remote Senior Propulsion Engineer Engine & PPMS Structures

If that appeals to you, we’d love to connect!\n\n Senior Propulsion Engineer\n\nAs a Senior Propulsion Engineer specialized in structural/mechanical engineering, you will be\nresponsible for cradle to grave development of support structure hardware for engine assemblies\nand propellant & pressurant management system (PPMS) assemblies. You will work closely with the\ncombustion devices, turbo machinery, components, PPMS, and vehicle design engineers to design\nand develop primary and secondary structures for fluid systems, engine assemblies, and PPMS\nassemblies.\n\nThe ideal candidate will be a self-starter and self-motivated individual who is comfortable working in\na fast-paced and dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will be a multi-disciplinary engineer with\na diverse set of skills and experience in these fields of expertise: mechanical and fluid systems\ndesigns, combined structural / thermal design, analysis of components, dynamics and static loads\nanalysis for large assemblies, generating complex CAD models, designing for manufacturing\n(DFM), technical report writing, and communication and people skills.\n\nThis is a full-time salaried position with the flexibility of working remotely or from our headquarter\nlocated on the Ellington Air Field in Houston, Texas. Remote candidates must be able to support travel to and from Houston, TX on a semi-regular basis. \n\n401k and other benefits offered. \n\nITAR Requirements\nTo conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.\n\nVenus Aerospace is a startup.
