As the Product Designer on our Applications Team, you’ll have a direct and lasting impact on our flagship product, used every day by salespeople, traders, bankers, and other capital markets professionals. Our software provides intuitive and lightning-fast workflows to our users, getting them the data they need quickly so they can make money in the market.\n\nYou’ll be tasked with designing products and features by obsessing over every customer touchpoint in order to create outstanding user experiences. We place a premium on systems thinking and building responsibly; understanding the cascading impact of your decisions across our products and customers.\n\nProduct design at Street Contxt is collaborative by default. Product designers are ultimately responsible for the experiences they create but we expect you to gather input to inform your decisions. The Applications team has a deep understanding of our customers, the industry, and our products. We expect you to lean on the product manager and developers on your team, as well as customer research, to build well-considered and thoughtful products.\n\nSuccessful designers at Street Contxt are opinionated and outcome-focused. We expect you to argue for the best user experiences but also be willing to make trade-offs in favour of getting the job done.
