We are looking for a **Compliance Manager** to help our team create new global products and scale existing ones, while identifying compliance requirements and producing elegant solutions to them. Especially, we are looking for a great communicator, someone who can make complex information understandable to people working in different areas, and support both operations and product development.\n\n🚀 **About SafetyWing**\nSafetyWing is building a global safety net for remote workers worldwide. We are currently offering health insurance (Remote Health) aimed at global remote companies, and travel-medical insurance (Nomad Insurance) aimed at digital nomads. If we succeed, we believe this will help ensure freedom and equal opportunity for everyone, and is one of the more important tasks of our time that no one else is working on.\n\nOur team consists of about 50 people full-time and another 50 part-time. We are growing fast, and are looking to scale up the team significantly over the next year.\n\n\n🧪 **Qualifications we're looking for**\n- Experience working with global compliance for or in a financial or insurance startup \n- Experience creating a compliance program (audits, risk assessment, policies and procedures)\n- A good understanding of insurance, KYC/AML, cyber security and privacy issues would be a plus\n- Project management skills: The ability to plan a project, gather the resources and see it through to completion no matter what challenges you encounter\n- That you can write and speak simply and clearly so that everyone can understand\n\n\n\n🦸♂️ **We like to work with people who**\n- Are intellectually curious and open to new ideas\n- Thinks for themselves instead of copying others\n- Are creative and bold in the face of any problem\n- Have strong integrity and do the right thing\n\n🧘 **What we offer**\n\nYou will receive both salary and equity compensation, health insurance, laptop, a minimum of four weeks of yearly vacation, and during non-covid times we have three to four annual gatherings where you will join us.
