\nPOSITION SUMMARY\n\nThe Senior Accountant will develop and execute our financial statement accounting policies and process controls so that the company can meet its financial reporting obligations and timelines. The individual will be also responsible for the purchase-to-pay and order-to-cash processes.\n\nYOU WILL\n\n\nInterpreting contracts to initiate revenue recognition process within the scope of ASC606 with responsibility for creating accurate billing and revenue reporting by segment.\n\nPreparing journal entries and monthly reconciliations for revenue and deferred revenue accounts.\n\nPreparing bi-monthly payroll, recording related journal entries and reconciling all payroll and benefits related Balance Sheet accounts. \n\nCommissions - monthly analysis, calculation, payment processing and distribution of monthly statements\n\nResponsibility for the accurate and timely maintenance of the general ledger, including developing support schedules, entering journal entries, and account analysis and reconciliation on a monthly basis under tight deadlines.\n\nResearching and assessing GAAP principles for implementation, includes existing and new pronouncements.\n\nPreparing a significant number of high-level support schedules in preparation for annual audits, including regular maintenance, as well as more numerous and detailed year-end support schedules. \n\nHelp maintain system of internal controls, procedures and policies. Help maintain comprehensive documentation including technical accounting memos/whitepapers to support revenue accounting positions and conclusions.\n\nParticipation in variety of special projects and process improvement activities.\n\n\n\n\nABOUT YOU\n\n\nBachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in accounting.\n\nMinimum of seven years of experience that demonstrates substantial knowledge and the ability to perform the specific job functions.\n\nCPA certification and experience in SaaS companies are strongly preferred. \n\nPublic accounting or public company experience a plus.\n\nIntermediate MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.\n\nCommunicate clearly and concisely, whether it’s in an email, on a conference call, or in a financial model\n\nConscientious, with a high sense of duty\n\nAbility to establish and maintain priorities in order to complete assignments by deadlines without detailed instructions;\n\nSkilled in verifying the accuracy and completeness of forms and reports;\n\nCan work under minimal supervision\n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
