Develop and sustain an environment with effective teamwork and collaboration, and diverse, psychologically safe, and intellectually stimulating interactions.\n- Lead and inspire a high-performing engineering team to build and scale a highly secure, reliable and performant blockchainย \n- Recruit, coach, and mentor the best engineering and management talent\n\nWhat Weโre Looking For:\n- You have a Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, a related field of study, or equivalent professional experience.\n- 3+ yearsโ experience as an Engineering Managerย \n- You have years of experience leading across the software development lifecycle, including deep knowledge of best practices surrounding Git and GitHub, pull requests and code reviews, continuous integration and delivery, and post-deployment monitoring and analysis.\n- You're passionate about creating compelling user experiences.\n- You're a problem solver, and you value passing on your knowledge and methodologies to create a force-multiplier effect.\n- You have ample experience advising, coaching, and mentoring peers, direct reports, and less experienced team members.\n- You understand how to effectively communicate and collaborate with colleagues in non-technical roles, such as human resources, finance, and legal.\n- You have a global mindset with ability to think about culture, language, and other aspects when putting the customer at the center of all outcomes\n- Ability to influence at all levels of the organization and across multiple domains\n- You actively write code in some capacity, and you're very confident in your technical abilities. Experience as a technical lead or manager of two or more software engineers.\n\nNice to haves:\n- Proficiency in project management, planning and estimation, and documentation of practices and processes.\n- Experience in building Layer-1s.\n- Experience in developing and/or maintaining open source projects.ย \n- Experience working in a startup environment.\n\nAt Iron Fish, we celebrate and support our differences.
