We’re on a mission to enable builders to reinvent and lower the cost of financial services.\n\nBackground\n\nThere are a growing number of companies helping people gain access to digital financial services, whether it’s low-interest loans, payment installment solutions, integrated insurance offerings, fee-less banking, personalized budgeting, wage advances, or investment solutions.\n\nWe believe financial services will exist for every consumer segment, especially underserved segments including female professionals, refugee communities, creators, immigrants, retirees, gig workers, and so forth. We are not original in this thought - this is already happening.\n\nBuilding equitable financial services for underserved consumer segments requires expensive resources, infrastructure, and analysis into new types of datasets. However, the cost to clean, transform, and analyze these new datasets is high, and every company is forced to do the same bespoke work on the same data sources. This is significant time and cost, and impeding the mission around expanding financial inclusion.\n\nWe're 3x founders with a history of launching successful data products, and we're partnered with awesome fintech investors including Bessemer Ventures, Village Global, Better Tomorrow Ventures, 8VC, and execs from Coinbase, Chime, and Sofi.\n\nThe Role\n\nAt Pave, you will be our first product manager, responsible for managing the flow from idea to implementation. You’ll be reporting to the company’s CEO.\n\nYou will be responsible for writing product requirement documents (PRDs), transforming broad concepts that live on our product roadmap to actionable, quantifiable, and implementable specifications.\n\nThe nature of the PRDs involves requirements for new analysis, insights, and new API endpoints that we’re continuously making available to our developer and data science customers. The role requires a deep understanding of how our data quality and ETL processes work in the background, as well as experience with analytics and data science related projects.\n\nYou will work closely with our founders and engineering team during planning to ensure our goals are aligned and coordinated for the upcoming sprint.\n\nYou will serve as our team scrum master, running our daily standups, managing our ticket board, and ensuring that our engineers are unblocked and on pace.\n\nTiming is great - it's early enough that you'll get an opportunity to be the first PM on the team and help lead a wide range of projects and see our API grow by leaps and bounds.\n\nThe Team\n\nWe’re a 10 person team of hungry, mission-driven individuals bent on leveling the playing field of financial services.
