We are looking for great people who want to grow and develop fast, personally and professionally, and Improvado offers that collaborative high-growth environment.\nOur HQ is in San Francisco with offices globally.\n\n**About the Job**\n\n**The Head of Professional Services** is responsible for delivering high quality professional services engagements across all products, generating best-in-class services margins for a software company, while assisting the company to achieve its overall subscription bookings, revenue, and customer gross/net retention targets.\nThis leader will build, develop and retain a world-class, global team of professional services managers, functional analysts, technical analysts, and other relevant technology roles.\nImprovado Professional Services currently comprises both in-house services professionals, 3rd party contractors and Partners to sell and deliver Improvado services engagements. The resources are based in the US, Mexico, EMEA, and Russia.\n\nImprovado products serve a variety of Sales and Marketing Data Analytics use cases โ and comprise a diverse set of core technologies.\n\nThere are **three key areas** where this role will unlock and maximize enterprise value across Improvado:\n\n**Contribution Margin and Services Bookings**. Drive the Professional Services business to best practice and industry standard contribution margin of 30%+. Be seen as a value-added resource by the Sales Team to drive customer value.\n**Customer success.** Optimize customer value, and time required to achieve business outcomes both by partnering with Sales to ensure consistent messaging and client value articulation through realization and coordinating customer feedback with Product Management, driving enhanced functionality into the Product.\n**Retention โ high-quality delivery.** Ensure projects are delivered with quality on-time and on-budget. Minimize concessions and rework. Continue enhancing delivery methodologies.\n\n**Professional Services Offering, Team and Technological Stack**\n\nThe Head of Professional Services will work with a team of Project Managers and Data Analysts to deliver the following services:\n\n**Business Analytics Design:** running workshops to define, advise and collect business requirements with Customers\n**Data Transformation:** definition and implementation of specific Data Models\n**Data Visualization:** implementation of reports and dashboards within most popular BI tools\n\n**Used Technologies:**\nDatabases/DWH: ClickHouse, Google BigQuery, Snowflake, Amazon Athena, PostgreSQL\nBI: Google Data Studio, Microsoft Power BI, Tableau\nDBT\n\n**Responsibilities**\n* Work alongside the sales and customer success teams to understand the customer requirements and create the Statement of Works (SOW), project plans, and project staffing to meet the requirements.\n* Develop detailed project plans and milestones to ensure successful completion of the project within constraints such as time, cost and agreed quality standards\n* Identify, log, analyze and manage potential and actual issues and risks. Manage potential escalations proactively to limit their impact to the project and Customer relationship.\n* Cultivate client partnerships to ensure joint alignment of short and long-term goals.\n* Ability to manage multiple customers and projects/tasks simultaneously.\n* Strong internal communication skills including ability to work with all levels of the organization (development, sales, marketing, operations and within the Professional Services Group).\n* Provide the Professional Services team with Subject Matter Expertise related to the proposed solution and client needs in order to ensure successful project delivery\n* Manage project- and account-level escalations as needed\n* Anticipate needs and position training, support and other solutions that may be needed for a successful customer experience\n* Work closely with Project Managers to ensure that engagements conclude with fully satisfied clients that are willing to be references for new potential clients\n* The ability to proactively identify and mitigate risks to customer success, be it through the addition of new products and services, strategy & planning, or escalation\n\n**Requirements**\n* Demonstrated progressive experience delivering consulting services, including team leadership and active involvement in selling professional services within the Sales and Marketing Analytics Space\n* Able to command a group audience, facilitate solutioning and lead discussions such as implementation methodology, road mapping, enterprise strategy and executive-level requirement gathering sessions\n* Highly developed soft skills, with the ability to adjust communication style based on the audience and difficult client situations.\n* Excellent analytical & problem solving skills.\n* Collaborative and consultative work style, ability to thrive in a high velocity, highly dynamic work environment\n* History of working in a consultative selling environment, where clients seek and value your opinions and see your advice as objective and unbiased\n\n**Minimum Qualifications:**\n* Fluent English\n* Minimum of 3 years of experience, with prior role\n* Minimum of 5 years of experience in Sales and Marketing Analytics Space\n* Experience with ETL/ELT, data warehouse and business intelligence tools\n* Experience in running business workshops for requirements gathering and definition\n* Experience in working with a partner ecosystem \n\nPlease mention the word **FERTILE** when applying to show you read the job post completely (#RMy4xMzMuMTA5LjIxMQ==).
