Rejoiner is seeking a creative, self-motivated, and proven Email Designer to work full-time as part of our customer success team. This is a mid-level position. You will be responsible for designing email creative for a variety of high-profile retail & eCommerce clients. The successful candidate will have expert-level knowledge of current email design best practices, a demonstrated ability to design on a conceptual level as well as a strong interest in email as a communication medium.\n\n## Responsibilities\n\n- Assist with the ideation and design of marketing emails that are eye-catching, on-brand, and produce high conversion rates\n- Working knowledge of usability best practices, and an interest in keeping on top of industry trends \n- Understand and provide guidance on email compliance standards\n- Collaborate with our Creative Director, Email Development team, and Customer Success team members to turn your designs into developed email templates\n- Strong team player/collaborator who can handle client feedback and communication\n- The ability to verbally articulate the strengths/weakness of designs, and provide insightful feedback on how to make an existing design more successful\n- Digital photography: color correct and retouch photos\n- Maintain multiple clients’ brand standards \n\n## Qualifications\n\n- 2-4 years of experience in email design\n- Ability to prioritize work to balance multiple projects and deadlines\n- Strong communication skills with a predisposition to ask “why?” \n- Commitment to detail and quality, within tight deadlines and high volumes\n- Expert-level use of Adobe Creative Cloud (specifically Photoshop, Illustrator)\n- Understanding of email design and coding best practices\n- Strong knowledge of current mobile/responsive design practices\n\n## Pluses\n\n- Previous experience with light copywriting\n- Previous experience coding HTML emails \n- Experience with Sketch \n\n## About Rejoiner\n\n- We're a bootstrapped, remote-first company currently doing our work in 11 different US states and on 3 different continents.
