Digital Trends seeks a passionate A/V aficionado to help ordinary consumers navigate the maze of acronyms, formats, and features that is the modern home theater landscape. \n\nAnd we mean that in the broadest possible sense. Todayโs home theater encompasses headphones, portable speakers, and streaming sticks as much as projectors, receivers, and televisions. We cover it all, and weโre looking for talented writers to stake out their turf in every niche. \n\nWhat You'll Do:\n\nThe right candidate will be able to pitch and execute breaking news, features, op-eds, how-to guides and reviews for our Audio / Video section, under the guidance of a section editor. Experience covering key players like Sony, Samsung, and LG is a plus, as is familiarity with WordPress, or publishing CMS. The ability to turn around airtight copy quickly and reliably can turn this into a long-term, reliable source of work for a passionate writer with a strong work ethic, voice, and understanding of our industry. \n\nAs part of your job, you will also find and secure relevant images, video, and other media to draw readers into your posts and retain them. Your sources will include media from manufacturers, official press releases, stock photography, and more. \n\nYou Have:\n\n\n* Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively and meet deadlines.\n\n* Excellent organizational and administrative skills and attention to detail.\n\n* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
