As a member of this team, you will have a key role in our product’s success. You will work with developers to measure and optimize our audio advertising solutions for our customers — from the biggest brands to your favorite local coffee shop. You will own feature delivery from design to deployment while working alongside a team of smart people who like to jump right into things and aren’t afraid to get their hands dirty.\n\nWHY JELLI?\n\nNote: We are currently working remotely due to COVID-19\n\n\n* Desirable office locations in San Mateo, Boise, and New York\n\n* Tight-knit teams that value teamwork and collaboration\n\n* Company-sponsored virtual activities like yoga, meditation, and workouts\n\n* Virtual wine tastings and game nights\n\n* A stocked kitchen with coffee, snacks, and endless beverages\n\n* Foosball and ping pong tables to keep things fun \n\n\n\n\nTHE TECHNOLOGY\n\n\n* Our SaaS applications are powered by Ember.js on the front end and Java on the back end\n\n* We utilize Amazon AWS infrastructure to host our application servers (Java, Python) and database server (MySQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB)\n\n\n\n\nWHAT YOU’LL DO ON AN AVERAGE DAY\n\n\n* Design and conduct tests with complex workloads and data shapes to expose potential bottlenecks and failure points\n\n* Analyze performance results to identify system inefficiencies and suggest optimizations to address the same\n\n* Analyze metrics and trends to glean opportunities for performance improvements\n\n* Conduct technical presentations to educate teams on how to improve system performance\n\n* Devise innovative solutions to improve performance engineering effectiveness\n\n\n\n\nWHAT’S REQUIRED? \n\n\n* 6+ years of professional experience in performance engineering and benchmarking\n\n* Strong coding skills (Java, MySQL)\n\n* Strong experience in bottleneck analysis, profiling and tracing\n\n* Extensive hands-on experience with performance engineering, including the use of JMeter, LoadRunner or similar tools, as well as profiling tools\n\n* Strong hands-on experience on system monitoring tools and frameworks\n\n* Comfortable with Linux, Docker, AWS, git, Nexus\n\n\n\n\n*Please note that estimated salary ranges on Linkedin are not always reflective of our actual salary \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
