We are looking for a Backend Engineer to help us deliver a great product to our users! \n\nYou will join our Product and Engineering department which is organised in cross-funtional teams that own an end to end vertical of our product. Each team is 5-8 people strong and they are focusing in our of the user types (coach, coachee, company).\n\nJoin our Millennium Falcon spaceship! Team Millennium Falcon focuses on the company persona and they are currently 5 people strong including Fullstack Engineers, a Product Manager and a Designer. They follow Kanban methodology.\n\n\n\n\n* You implement, optimize and maintain new features on our platforms using modern Javascript technologies (JavaScript on React.js for FE, TypeScript on Nest.js/Node.js for BE)\n\n* You write clean, high quality, well- performing and JavaScript Code\n\n* Together with your team you own and drive every stage of a product's lifecycle; from planning to delivery\n\n* You support the team in learning and leveraging our technology and tools\n\n* You work collaboratively with our UI/UX Designers, Product Managers and fellow Engineers\n\n* You write automated tests\n\n\n\n\nYour profile\n\n\n* You have 5+ years professional engineering experience, ideally in a startup environment and have worked with JavaScript (ES 6-7), Node.js and TypeScript during this time\n\n* You have good understanding of HTTP protocol, HTML5, CSS3, the DOM and browser APIs\n\n* You have been working with Git, GitHub, Docker before\n\n* You are experienced with testing and debugging web apps React and Node services\n\n* You would describe your work approach as solution-oriented\n\n* You enjoy working in an interdisciplinary team\n\n* You speak English on a fluent level\n\n\n\n\nWhat we offer\n\n\n\n* A large variety of responsibilities and the opportunity to give or tech/tool landscape your foot print\n\n* Large offer in learning and professional development\n\n* Fun and purpose in a highly motivated and inspirational team\n\n* Your own personal business coach!\n\n* Reduced Urban Sports Club Membership\n\n\n\n\n\nIf we have aroused your interest, we look forward to receiving your application.
