\nABOUT THE COALITION\n\nโ€‹โ€‹The Building Decarbonization Coalition unites building industry stakeholders with energy providers, environmental organizations, and local governments to help electrify Californiaโ€™s homes and workspaces with clean energy. Through convening, policy analysis, and consumer awareness building, the Coalition is pursuing fast, fair action to accelerate the development of zero-emission homes and buildings that will help California cut one of its largest sources of climate pollution while creating safe, healthy, and affordable communities.\n\nBurning fossil fuels for heating and cooking poses a serious threat to our health and the planet โ€” making buildings and homes the largest source of climate pollution in the world. Here in California, buildings are second only to transportation as the leading cause of climate change, yet weโ€™ve had no clear plan to address these emissions. Until now.\n\nThrough the development of A Roadmap to Decarbonize Californiaโ€™s Buildings, the Coalition lays out an ambitious, inspiring, and actionable plan for the state to eliminate building emissions in the Golden State. The Coalition is coordinating the implementation of the Roadmap by working with policymakers, the building industry,  and consumers to dispatch zero-emission lifestyle solutions โ€” eliminating the need for fossil fuels and helping the state to slash climate pollution. \n\nMoving Californiaโ€™s homes and buildings off of fossil fuels will improve public health, cut climate pollution, deliver cleaner air, alleviate rising housing prices and monthly energy bills, all while creating a tremendous export opportunity for the state. To get there, we are activating strong leadership from communities, manufacturing and government, in California and beyond.\n\nPOSITION SUMMARY \n\nAs the California Regulatory and Policy Senior Associate, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing the Coalition's strategic plan for California. Your primary responsibilities include serving as a legal, regulatory, and policy resource for BDC campaigns, fostering regulatory education and communication with regulators, and ensuring seamless integration of campaigns with broader BDC priorities. You will actively engage in building relationships with diverse stakeholders, advocating for legal and regulatory solutions, and contributing to the advancement of the building electrification movement in California.\n\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS\n\nCalifornia Regulatory Leadership, Strategy Development & Implementation\n\n\n* Participate actively in the development of the Coalitionโ€™s overarching strategic plan for California, serve as a legal, regulatory, and policy resource for BDCs campaigns, and ensure campaigns are coordinated and fully embedded into other BDC priorities.\n\n* Work with the California BDC team to provide regulatory education and communication with regulators including developing strong relationships, identifying opportunities and priorities, and working in coordination with the broader coalition to move the BDCโ€™s legal and regulatory agenda forward.\n\n* Convene and facilitate meetings and working groups with NGOs, equity groups, financing experts, affordable housing advocates, ratepayer and consumer groups, manufacturers, business organizations and associations, outside counsel, and others regularly to develop relationships and strengthen networks in order to address barriers to building decarbonization within relevant state regulatory agencies and administrative dockets.\n\n* Identify and implement legal and regulatory solutions that lift up the most vulnerable communities while simultaneously lifting up market leaders and aiming to create high-road jobs.\n\n* Track key regulatory proceedings at the California Public Utilities Commission and the California Energy Commission, summarize key documents, prepare comments and testimony when appropriate, and support BDC partners and members in pertinent regulatory dockets.\n\n* Develop and maintain working relationships with key Coalition members to support BDC success in regulatory objectives.\n\n* Ensure that BDCโ€™s legal, regulatory, and policy agenda is equitable and inclusive and drives the overall goals of BDC and the building electrification movement in California forward.\n\n\n\n\nRegulatory Research, Analysis, & Technical Assistance\n\n\n* Collaborate with the California team to produce reports, research, studies, regulatory briefs, and other strategic documents to advance BDCโ€™s legal and regulatory agenda.\n\n* Perform technical analysis to support regulatory filings, contribute to development of fact sheets and reports, and identify and advance key positions on regulatory issues.\n\n* Support drafting of reports, fact sheets, one pagers, and/or blog posts to contribute to BDCโ€™s thought leadership in the regulatory environment.\n\n* Conduct technical analysis as necessary to support the development of reports and educational materials for use in communicating on BDCโ€™s policy objectives. \n\n* Help establish BDC as the go-to resource for policymakers, regulators, coalition members and other stakeholders.\n\n\n\n\nSKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS\n\n\n* Demonstrated 3-5 years of experience intervening in administrative dockets and successfully influencing regulatory policy.\n\n* Demonstrated experience with and a solid understanding of building electrification, power sector, and/or climate legal, policy, and regulatory solutions. Strong preference for individuals with experience in rate-setting, the California Environmental Quality Act, Title 24 (specifically parts 11 and 6) and/or the Clean Air Act. \n\n* Excellent research, writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills are essential.\n\n* Outstanding leadership, consensus, and relationship-building skills with clarity of vision and a commitment to the highest levels of integrity, quality, and collaboration. \n\n* High degree of emotional intelligence to support consensus building and collaboration between and among diverse stakeholders who may possess divergent viewpoints and agendas is a must.\n\n* Exceptional project management skills and ability to set clear priorities. Molecular Diagnostic experience strongly preferred.\n\n* Experience selling Oncology based tests and services into the Pathology and/or Oncology clinical communities preferred.\n\n* Experience within complex selling environments required.\n\n* Demonstrated success in recruiting, hiring, developing and retaining talent.\n\n* Ability to prioritize and align organizational goals and objectives; enable innovation.\n\n* Ability to develop and utilize cross-functional relationships to facilitate the accomplishment of work goals and objectives.\n\n* Ability to provide an integrated MolDx/SaaS solution using Tempusโ€™s sequencing technology to prospects and customers.\n\n* Ability to engage in a consultative selling process that overcomes objections and indifferences while connecting client needs with Tempusโ€™s capabilities.\n\n* Comfortable selling at the executive level (CEO, COO, CFO)\n\n* Keen understanding of the payor and reimbursement environment in the oncology and diagnostic space\n\n* Ability to work independently, communicate proactively, manage multiple projects and prioritize daily tasks while managing critical deadlines\n\n* Problem solving, decision making and technical learning.\n\n* Advanced written and oral communication skills.\n\n* Strong administrative skills. \nOverview\n\nLightship is a clinical trials service provider leading in increasing access and choice in taking part in research to improve equity for all. Lightship expects each individual to anchor their availability in the standard operating hours for their geographic location, however, true to our values of inclusion and flexibility, this role, along with all others at Lightship, may be asked to flex work hours to accommodate US West Coast, US East Coast, and UK-based time zones, based on business and/or patient needs. In practice, this may translate to days that have a slightly earlier start or evenings that have a slightly later end. Culturally, we aim to balance the ability to operate across time zones with respect for each individual's daily life.  Additionally, this position will require significant travel for patient visits and key meetings.\n\nThe Clinical Research Nurse Coordinator is responsible for:\n\n\n* Assisting investigators, sub-investigators, and other Lightship personnel in successful implementation and conduct of research studies\n\n* Providing nursing care to study patients, which includes:\n\n\n* Completing study visits with patients in their home and/or on the Mobile Research Unit (MRU) per protocol requirements and adhering to relevant federal, state, and local research regulations \n\n* Ensuring compliance with each studyโ€™s protocol by providing thorough review and documentation at each patient visit\n\n* Performing protocol defined procedures and assessments, including, but not limited to, vital signs, physical examinations, and electrocardiograms\n\n* Administering investigational medications or providing patient education regarding administration, as necessary\n\n* Notifying Principle Investigator of findings / issues / possible adverse events identified during the study visits\n\n* Educating patients on study procedures; The candidate must be knowledgeable of clinical research operations, including interpretation and implementation of FDA regulations/ICH guidelines.  This role will require an ability to operate in a fast-paced, highly dynamic environment within a matrix team and have partnerships that include both internal and external stakeholders.  \n\n\n\n\n\nWhat You Will Do:\n* Assist in all operational aspects of the assigned clinical trial(s) and support the clinical trial(s) conduct including vendor selection process, study start-up, enrollment, study conduct, and close-out\n* Assist in review of study-related and essential clinical study start-up documents (e.g., Clinical protocols, regulatory document packages, informed consent forms, CTA/Budget, Investigational Product Manual, Monitoring Plan, Laboratory Manual, Case Report Form (CRFs), CRF Completion Guidelines, training documentation/tools, and other relevant study plans and charters). \n* Assists in training and managing CRO and vendors such as Central lab, Imaging, etc \n* Assists in data review and/or data metric review in preparation for data cuts\n* May be responsible for apheresis planning to support enrollment of study participants and liaise with investigative sites and supply chain to support activities involved in the cell journey\n* May coordinate with supply chain on all aspects of study participant sample collection and โ€œcell journeyโ€ including apheresis, shipping, processing, manufacturing and return of investigational product back to the clinical trial sites\n* Responsible for biospecimen sample routing, tracking, and query resolutions between clinical sites and the central lab and CROs.\n* Responsible for planning, coordinating, and tracking biospecimen shipments (PK, biomarkers) between central lab and specialty vendors\n* Assists with the review of IRB/EC documents in coordination with CRO, as appropriate\n* Assists in site selection and the start-up processes toward activating sites\n* Responsible for filing necessary documents in the electronic trial master file (eTMF), and for leading regular cross-functional reviews of the eTMF.\n* Maintain tracking of various study activities to assist the study lead with required updates required for senior leadership\n* Assist in CRO interactions, including sponsor oversight of operational functional activities (e.g., study management, monitoring report review, site management, TMF, EDC, etc). \n* Develops relationships with investigators and site staff as well as serve as a liaison and resource for investigational sites.\n* Under supervision, participate in the development, review and implementation of departmental SOPs and processes.\n* Support other studies as required and other duties as assigned\n\n\n\n\nWhat Will You Bring:\n* Your whole self\n* BS/BA in nursing, science or health-related field with 4+ years experience of related oncology clinical trial management experience\n* Experience with vendor management & CRO oversight preferred\n* Competent knowledge of transplant patient care and apheresis collection is a plus\n* Clinical research knowledge and cross-functional understanding of the clinical trial methodology\n* Willing to travel to clinical sites as needed \n* Ability to deal with time demands, incomplete information, or unexpected events\n* Must display strong analytical and problem-solving skills\n* Attention to detail required\n* Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize\n* Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are essential to working in a matrix team\n* Creative and innovative mindset to approach novel problem statements \n* Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies\n* Comfortable in a fast-paced small company environment and able to adjust workload based upon changing priorities\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhat We Will Offer You: \nArsenalBio has a generous and comprehensive benefits package that includes but is not limited to medical, dental, and vision as well as mental health resources, virtual and telehealth options, coaching, infertility treatment, parental leave and health savings accounts.
