We want to make multi-chain DeFi easy and fun!\n\n\nWhile we live under LI.FIโs umbrella, we pride ourselves in our small but excellent and very agile team. Jumper already has over 100k active users, and still we are only now getting started to build it from the ground up. As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer you would be at the core of this new adventure - completely owning the realization of Jumperโs underlying infrastructure and bringing new ideas to life!\n\n\n \n\n\nA quick run-down of the job\n\n\nWe are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer who will lead the design, development, and maintenance of our scalable and secure backend infrastructure. This includes the establishment of a completely new backend and a scalable infrastructure for Jumper. Additionally, you will be very hands-on in our frontend and the LI.FI widget integration in order to quickly ship new features. In this role, you are expected to split your work between frontend and backend. In order to move quickly, the emphasis initially will likely be on frontend work during the first few months, with a gradual shift towards backend responsibility over the near-term.\n\n\n \n\n\nWe are a small team, and every one of our engineers is expected to strongly contribute to Jumperโs success by coming up with independent ideas and solutions to complex challenges. The current team includes: a Senior Full-Stack, a Junior Frontend Engineer, a Product Designer, a Technical Product Manager and a Business Lead. In addition, one more Full-Stack Engineer will be added to the team soon. Your application will not be considered if you're outside EMEA.\n\n\n \n\n\nWhat youโll do\n\n\n\n * Architecting and implementing scalable and robust infrastructure solutions that can handle growing user loads and evolving business needs (we are already used by over 100k monthly active users).\n\n * Developing and maintaining comprehensive test suites, including unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests, to ensure the reliability of backend systems.\n\n * Design and develop high quality frontend applications that are testable and maintainable.\n\n * Be responsible for development of prototypes, new frontend features and React components.\n\n * Leading the design, development, and maintenance of a newly developed Jumper backend system and APIs.\n\n * Collaborate closely with the Software Engineers, Product Manager and Designers within your team.\n\n * Review the work of your teammates and support them in their growth through guidance and mentorship where needed.\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\nWhat makes a good candidate\n\n\n\n * Must be located in the EMEA region.\n\n * Effective communication skills (in English) with the ability to build relationships and work in a small but excellent team while self-guided on a day-to-day basis.\n\n * Extensive professional experience in a similar role (as senior or lead).\n\n * Experience in UX/UI development.\n\n * Experience in software design and architecture.\n\n * Knowledge of testing frameworks and principles.\n\n * Passion for new technologies and ability to autonomously evaluate them and make suggestions for improvement.\n\n * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science is a plus.\n\n * Previous working experience in the blockchain space or related technical understanding is a plus (especially with Wagmi).\n\n\n\n\n\nWe encourage you to apply if you feel your experience and skills equip you for this job but are not listed here!\n\n\n \n\n\nCompany culture\n\n\n\n * \nEmpowered teams: We take the best person with the right skills, and then inspire them to use them! We trust our team and give them the space and ownership to excel and achieve.\n\n * \nFlexible time management: We believe work should adapt to your life, not the other way around. We only schedule a few fixed meetings every week โ you're free to arrange the rest of your time as you like.\n\n * \nInclusive culture: Itโs our priority to make our whole team feel included, appreciated and respected. Our global, culturally diverse team is our most important asset.\n\n * \nRemote-friendly: Weโre a fully remote, global company. As long as youโre not on Mars (the WiFi is terrible we heard), being part of our team from the comfort of your own home works perfectly well for us.\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\nWhat youโll get\n\n\n\n * Entitlement to a work computer (choice of equipment).\n\n * Unlimited remote days and flexible working hours.\n\n * Annual team off-sites (Thailand was a blast last year & Vietnam will be even blast-ier).\n\n * An annual 1000โฌ personal development budget once you have worked 6+ months (pro-rated the first year).\n\n * A one-time 1000โฌ remote budget to use on co-working, office setup, etc.\n\n * Initial equity allocations once you have worked 6+ months.\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\nCompensation & Package\n\n\nBase package + equity \n\n#Salary and compensation\n

Jellyfish is hiring a Remote Frontend Software Engineer
\nThe team at Jellyfish is changing how product development happens, helping engineering teams learn how to work together and communicate more effectively. Weโre in search of a front-end engineer whoโs passionate about improving the user experience, learning from customers, and delivering high-quality code to make it happen. Ideally, youโve worked on a SaaS product in the past using React and are as comfortable working in partnership with product and design on feature discovery as you are putting together the ideas into code. This is a great opportunity to be a member of an exceptional engineering organization with high agency: where you can help shape the features your team builds and how your team builds them.\n\nIf this sounds exciting, weโd love to hear from you.\n\nWhat youโll do:\n\n\n* Develop beautiful, robust user interfaces using React, TypeScript, and Ant Design components\n\n* Be eager to experiment, iterate, and learn quickly as we work to simplify our app and make it more dynamic and personalized\n\n* Design, plan, and implement key features as part of a highly effective team\n\n* Parse, understand, and if desired, participate in customer research and discovery to make better and more informed product and technical decisions \n\n* Communicate effectively about project status, technical issues, and breaking down work\n\n* Engage in your teamโs processes and work to continually improve your teamโs capabilities\n\n* Provide technical and product expertise within your team and across the organization\n\n* Actively participate in a culture supportive of growth and inclusion on your team\n\n\n\n\nAbout you:\n\n\n* Strive to understand your users well and have experience adapting a product based on eagerly seeking out their feedback\n\n* Know how to build and support production web applications\n\n* Strong programming experience with expertise in at least one web framework, and are open-minded and excited to learn new ones\n\n* Visual design sensibility in addition to being a hands-on builder\n\n* Curious and great at asking questions, figuring out what needs to be done, building consensus, and executing\n\n* Considerate of both the needs of the user and the needs of the business when designing a solution\n\n* Love learning new things and sharing knowledge with others\n\n* Strong communication skills, and enjoy working as part of a team\n\n* Located in EST or CST time zone\n\n\n\n\nBonus points if:\n\n\n* Experience building visualizations for applications that ingest, process, and analyze large amounts of data\n\n* You can contribute in areas of the stack besides the front end, or have interest in building some capabilities there\n\n* Familiarity with usability testing and optimization\n\n* Previous experience in a fast-changing startup before and loved it\n\n\n\n\nA list of job experiences and qualification requirements is great, but humility, a performance-driven attitude, and a team-player approach are most important to us. We love to have fun and win in the process. We only hire people who have a passion for building great companies in an environment where a sense of humor is a must.\n\nLetโs talk about us!\n\nThis is all about you, but you want to know a little about us. Jellyfish was started in 2017 as a team of three with one big idea: engineering is the core of modern business, so letโs create and manage it that way! With the help of our customers, we have built the first Engineering Management Platform, providing visibility into engineering organizations, their work, and how they operate. We enable leaders to align engineering decisions with business initiatives and deliver the right software efficiently and on time. \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
