Remote Senior Back End Developer

\nWe are looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join our dynamic engineering team to create games involving NFT technologies within our Bogota-based studio. Our team is focused on building PlaiLabโ€™s AAA, multi-platform online Game: Champions Ascension.\n\n\n\nResponsibilities\n* Build, and ship the most impactful features in Backend services\n* Work with Senior leadership to establish and enforce good architectural standards.\n* Work with a team to build large scale data services and backend systems.\n* Debug issues in production environments across multiple levels of the tech stack.\n* Pragmatic approach to ensure the player experience is optimized\n* Collaborate with our central technology team to create game services to help support blockchain-backed game creation.\n\n\n\nQualifications\n* 5+ Years of expertise with backend development.\n* High level of fluency with and experience using technologies, databases and frameworks like (but not limited to) these languages - .NET, ASP.NET, C#, Google Cloud, Amazon Web Services, DynamoDB, Spanner, BigTable, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, SQS, S3, Lambda, Redis, - or deep experience with relevant transferable technologies.\n* Proven experience working with large, long-lived backend code bases, with a focus on sustainable patterns.\n* Ability to work iteratively.\n* Strong problem-solving skills.\n* Excellent interpersonal skills.\n\n\n\nNice To Have\n* Passion for automation\n* A good sense of humor is a definite plus.\n* Exposure to microservice development.\n* Exposure to Cloud development (AWS/GCP) and Continuous Integration/Delivery environments (CI/CD)\n* Experience in Distributed Systems\n* Strong knowledge and experience with the C# language.\n* Experience building web applications using .NET, ASP.NET and/or ASP.NET (MVC).\n* Previous experience working on games.\n* Experience working directly with Solana, Ethereum, or Blockchain tech.\n* Knowledge of the Web3 space and other Web3 projects.\n\n\n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n No salary data published by company so we estimated salary based on similar jobs related to Web3, Cloud, Senior and Backend jobs that are similar:\n\n $65,000 — $110,000/year\n
