**What we’re doing**\n\n80% of the global workforce doesn’t sit behind a desk - think retail assistants, waiters, bartenders, care assistants, nurses and so on. But up until now only 1% of funding has gone into building tools for them.\n\nAs a desk based worker it’s hard to imagine working without tools like Slack, Trello and Gmail, but for much of the deskless workforce, that’s the current state of play.\n\nThe only way to find out what shifts you’re working is to look at a print out taped to the break room wall. Changes to shifts are scribbled on the printout, photographed then sent to WhatsApp groups. Managers spend hours calling and texting trying and often not succeeding to fill overtime shifts. Payslips are sent in the post or accessed via web 1.0 portals and holiday is requested either in-person or through clunky legacy kiosks. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg.\n\nThe result is a dissatisfied workforce, soaring rates of attrition and tens of billions wasted in lost productivity, re-hiring and unnecessary agency spend. \n\nThis same workforce is accustomed to the very best in user experience, WhatsApp for messaging, Monzo for banking and AirBnB for holidays.\n\nSo where is the work app?\n\nThat’s what we’re building at Sona. The single app that will deliver a best in class user experience for deskless workers to manage their entire work life.\n\nWe’re still early on in our journey so anyone getting involved has scope to have a huge impact. \n\nWe’ve raised a $2.2m pre-seed round from some amazing investors including SpeedInvest and Notion Capital. We have a highly experienced founding team and amazing sales, marketing and customer success people as well as some exceptional engineering and product design talent. \n\n**About the role**\n\nYou’ll be working as part of a fully remote, close knit product team. We use Github + ZenHub for code hosting and project management and operate an extremely lightweight sprint based process.\n\nWe like engineers to be heavily involved throughout the product development process, not just in building.\n\nOur stack has two main components:\n\n* A backend with a GraphQL API and web frontend built using Elixir and Phoenix Live View\n* A native mobile application built in React Native + Typescript\n\nWe think in terms of “T Shaped” developers. This means that while all of us have some ability across the “full stack”, most of us have one side of the stack (e.g. Elixir or React Native) we’re stronger on and spend the bulk of our time on.\n\nTypically when somebody starts working with us, they have strong experience with one side of the stack and then learn the other part on the job. \n\n\n**About You**\n\nWe love engineers who have a non nonsense approach to “getting it shipped”, who when given the choice between “complicated and shiny” vs “get something simple in front of a user” will always choose the latter. \n\nEverybody’s different, but a lot of the following probably applies to you:\n\n* You have extensive professional experience in Elixir or React Native (you don't need both!!)\n* If your experience is in Elixir, you’re happy to talk about OTP, Erlang, Beam and how these relate to each other. You’ve built things using LiveView and are comfortable talking about it’s advantages and challenges. \n* If your experience is in React Native you’re happy to talk about Typescript, the role of generics and when they should be used, what hooks are, how they changed how we build React Native apps and when one should consider writing custom hooks. You’d be equally happy explaining promises and how they interact with async / await\n* You have a strong preference for over-communication, and take ownership of ensuring you fully understand what you’re working on\n* You’re in a country which is GMT +/- 3 and fluent communicating both verbally and in writing in English \n\n**How We Work**\n\nWe’re a fully remote team spread across 4 countries (and growing). We have a company stand up most mornings at 10:00 UK time. We aim to have fully paid for company meetups roughly once per quarter. \n\nEverything starts with talking to customers. We like everyone in the company to regularly join either sales calls with new prospects or catch ups with existing customers \n\nWe’re a small company with a strong preference for lightweight, asynchronous processes. Within product we work in sprints with periodic retrospectives.\n\n**Interview Process**\n\nOur interview process follows this pattern:\n\n* Initial phone screen (15-30 minutes) focused primarily on approach to work, career goals and your questions about Sona\n* Technical Interview (1-2 hours) take us through a piece of code you're proud of and talk about how it's architected, what worked well and what you'd do differently if you wrote it again. If you don't have a suitable piece of code, we're also happy to pay you for half a days work to do a take home task. But we understand that everyone's busy so we'd much rather use some code you've already got where possible!\n* Founder Interview (1 hour), focused on why you’re interested in Sona and your questions about the vision\n\n**Benefits**\n\n* Competitive salary\n* Employee share option scheme\n* New M1 Macbook + equipment grant for home office\n* Co-working stipend \n* 4.5 day standard working week (take your half day out when it suits you)\n* Unlimited free books \n\nBe sure to mention the words **WORLD DIAL HUNT** when applying to show you read the job post completely. This is a beta feature to avoid spam applicants. Companies can search these words to find applicants that read this and see they're human.\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n $70,000 — $120,000/year\n \n\n#Location\nEurope (Gmt +/- 3)

**The Job:**\n\nHelp hardware engineers ship products 3X faster!\n\nNowadays, the manufacturing industry is incredibly inefficient, costing the US economy billions of dollars every year, and making hardware products, like cars, planes, and medical devices that are expensive or unsafe/unusable.\n\nAt [Jiga](https://jiga3d.com), we are working hard to fix this problem, by building a purchasing platform that talks to engineers.\n\n**You should apply if**\n\n- You love building UI components as much as building data structures and API endpoints, and there isn’t a task you can't do.\n- You are excited to work on 3D models rendering, complex UI components, and pricing algorithms.\n- You are connected to the product side.\n- You are not afraid to make mistakes and get your hands dirty.\n- You have a get stuff done attitude.\n- You love what you do.\n\n**Requirements:**\n\n- 3+ years of experience building full stack web applications, end-to-end.\n- Proven experience with React.\n- Proven experience with NodeJS, MongoDB, AWS S3.\n- Deep love of startups and creating new products\n- Working blazingly fast.\n- Independent and autodidact.\n\nWould be nice to have also:\n- Experience with Three.js or similar 3D libraries\n- Experience with Next.js\n\n**About Jiga**\n\nJiga was started by our CEO, Assaf, who identified a need in the manufacturing market. After 6 years as a manufacturer himself, Assaf realized these inefficiencies had to be addressed.\n\nWe were founded in 2020, just before the first COVID lockdown. As we had to work remotely from day one, we learnt to communicate in an async way to allow everyone to focus and do what they do best, whenever they want and whenever they want.\n\nWe believe in flexible, remote work where each one of the team members has a voice and impact on the product. We don't count hours, we take a no-nonsense approach, and we’re open to any new ideas and technology.\n\nAll religions/genders/races are encouraged to apply, we simply don't care where you're from as long as you do a good job and play nice.\n\n**Benefits**\n\n- Fully flexible, location independent, parent-friendly remote work environment.\n- Internationally diverse and dynamic team with a clear vision and strategy.\n- Self-development budget.\n- Spotify/YouTube music subscription.\n- Generous stock options package.\n- Fast paced environment with lots of room for creative freedom.\n- Opportunity to work on a real, painful problem together with an amazing team.\n \n\nBe sure to mention the words **FOAM IMITATE JAR** when applying to show you read the job post completely. This job post is closed and the position is probably filled. Please do not apply.
# **Remote Full Stack Developer for Likvido (C#/.NET 5/VueJS/Kubernetes/Azure)**\n\nHello there! Are you ready for a really ambitious position as a full stack .NET developer?\n\nAnd yes, the role is fully remote so you can do your job wherever you want; from the beach, the pyramids, even from the moon if you like (well, of course you need to have an internet connection).\n\nLikvido is a (very) fast-growing startup. We are around 60 employees now, and we are aiming for a series A funding to realize our huuuuge ambitions for the coming years. \n\nWe are now looking for a skilled full stack .NET developer that can impact our products and become a part of our remote tech Likvido family.\n\n\n**Let’s be polite and introduce ourselves first - so who are we and what are we doing?**\n\nLet's face it: accounting sucks. Entering data into a stupid system? Sending invoices? Trying to get the last decimals to match so your auditor doesn’t scream at you?\n\nWe would prefer spending time with family or friends. The same goes for our customers.\n\nAt Likvido we are automating accounting for our customers. We do this by having a super awesome product that helps you:\n\n- Send “smart invoices” that reconcile themselves \n- Send automatic reminders for invoices that go unpaid\n- Pay your bills in Likvido so you don’t have to go to your bank (and the bills of course reconcile themselves)\n- Automatically scan all your receipts and bills so you don’t have to enter data again\n- Get paid if an invoice has not been paid on time through our debt collection system\n\nIf you *really* hate accounting, we also have an accountant service where our accountants take care of everything for a small price.\n\nSo to summarize what Likvido is doing:\nWe are letting you focus on what matters, instead of spending time on boring administrative work.\n\n\n**Tech stack**\n\nOur main application is a web application, where our customers can interact with the product. This web application consists of a VueJS frontend and an API - using the Backend For Frontend (BFF) approach. This means we are evolving the frontend and API in a symbiosis, where the API requests are tailored to the exact use-cases of the frontend. The styling of the frontend is a custommade look built with Sass and designed by our in-house UX/UI designer in cooperation with Studio Skulptur: https://www.studioskulptur.com/likvido. The API is running on .NET 5 and written in C#, but we also have a legacy ASP.NET MVC application running on old .NET framework - which we are in the process of getting rid of.\n\nWe run all of our services in Microsoft Azure. The most recent services are running on AKS (Azure Kubernetes Services), and the legacy services are running on App Service. Our goal is to move everything to AKS. All of our source code is hosted on Github and we use Github Actions to deploy our services to AKS. We deploy to production at least once per day.\n\nWe use SQL Server and Azure Blobs for our data storage needs. We might introduce MongoDB or CosmosDB for specific use cases, as we are generally very open to adopting new technologies, whenever they provide some nice improvements over our current stack. \n\nOur general architecture is to build bounded contexts, with a number of services and databases inside each context. The services are small and scalable, and we use both queues, event grids and HTTP APIs for communicating between services.\n\nYou will join our current team, consisting of 9 developers, both frontend and full stack developers, plus a product team with UX/UI designers and product managers. We expect you to participate in the whole product workflow - from idea to production. You will help build new features, do code reviews, make releases, and make sure your features work and continue to work in production. You will also help us push forward our technical stack and infrastructure, to improve the performance, availability and scalability of our products.\n\n\n**Responsibilities**\n\nBeing a Full Stack Developer at Likvido, your job is to improve our product and build great technical solutions!\n\nDay-to-day that means:\n- Implement new features (C# + JavaScript)\n- Help maintain our current products\n- Actively participate in team meetings, discussing product feature improvements as well as technical issues and improvements\n- Make code-reviews and be responsible for the features you build\n- Help push forward our platform and codebase, to make sure it is easy to maintain and performs well\n\nYou will also participate in the development process like your other colleagues, which means maintaining the current codebase, adding new features, doing code reviews etc. We are moving towards forming small autonomous teams, with a very high level of ownership and influence over the product and the technologies. This environment provides a lot of freedom for the teams to take control over their work, and let their creativity unfold.\n\n\n**Requirements**\n\nWe are looking for someone who can say “YES!” to the following:\n- I am a senior full stack developer with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position.\n- I put great pride in my work, and I like to solve challenging problems in ways that will make maintenance easy.\n- I enjoy following the technology trends and consider how they can be used to solve the problems we face.\n- I have strong opinions, but I understand and respect the opinions of others as well, and I will seek to resolve conflicts in a productive manner.\n- I have multiple years of experience with\n - C#\n - Modern .NET stack (.Net Core, .NET 5)\n - JavaScript (VueJS and TypeScript is a bonus)\n - Git\n - MSSQL\n\nSo without further ado: If you consider yourself a top full stack developer, and feel like having a very ambitious role is the next step in your career - APPLY!\n\n\n**What we offer - and a few practicalities!**\n\n💰 Competitive salary\n🌴 Vacation \n📖 Learning & dev budget\n⏰ Flexible hours\n🗺 100% Remote\n🌎 International environment\n🗣️ AND we expect you to be fluent in english\n \n\nBe sure to mention the words **OYSTER CURIOUS KITCHEN** when applying to show you read the job post completely. This is a beta feature to avoid spam applicants. Companies can search these words to find applicants that read this and see they're human.\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n $30,000 — $60,000/year\n \n\n#Location\n🌏 Worldwide

This job post is closed and the position is probably filled. Please do not apply.
**Remote Full Stack Developer for Likvido (C#/.NET 5/VueJS/Kubernetes/Azure)**\n\nHello there! We do this by having a super awesome product that helps you:\n* Send “smart invoices” that reconcile themselves \n* Send automatic reminders for invoices that go unpaid\n* Pay your bills in Likvido so you don’t have to go to your bank (and the bills of course reconcile themselves)\n* Automatically scan all your receipts and bills so you don’t have to enter data again\n* Get paid if an invoice has not been paid on time through our debt collection system\n* If you really hate accounting, we also have an accountant service where our accountants take care of everything for a small price.\n\nSo to summarize what Likvido is doing:\n\nWe are letting you focus on what matters, instead of spending time on boring administrative work.\n\n\n**Tech stack**\nOur main application is a web application, where our customers can interact with the product. \n\nThe API is running on .NET 5 and written in C#, but we also have a legacy ASP.NET MVC application running on old .NET framework - which we are in the process of getting rid of.\n\nWe run all of our services in Microsoft Azure. \nOur general architecture is to build bounded contexts, with a number of services and databases inside each context. You will also help us push forward our technical stack and infrastructure, to improve the performance, availability and scalability of our products.\n\n\n**Responsibilities**\n\nBeing a Full Stack Developer at Likvido, your job is to improve our product and build great technical solutions!\n\nDay-to-day that means:\n* Implement new features (C# + JavaScript)\n* Help maintain our current products\n* Actively participate in team meetings, discussing product feature improvements as well as technical issues and improvements\n* Make code-reviews and be responsible for the features you build\n* Help push forward our platform and codebase, to make sure it is easy to maintain and performs well\n\nYou will also participate in the development process like your other colleagues, which means maintaining the current codebase, adding new features, doing code reviews etc. We are moving towards forming small autonomous teams, with a very high level of ownership and influence over the product and the technologies. This environment provides a lot of freedom for the teams to take control over their work, and let their creativity unfold.\n\n\n**Requirements**\n\nWe are looking for someone who can say “YES!” to the following:\n* I am a senior full stack developer with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position.\n* I put great pride in my work, and I like to solve challenging problems in ways that will make maintenance easy.\n* I enjoy following the technology trends and consider how they can be used to solve the problems we face.\n* I have strong opinions, but I understand and respect the opinions of others as well, and I will seek to resolve conflicts in a productive manner.\n* I have multiple years of experience with\nC#\nModern .NET stack (.Net Core, .NET 5)\nJavaScript (VueJS and TypeScript is a bonus)\nGit\nMSSQL\n\nSo without further ado: If you consider yourself a top full stack developer, and feel like having a very ambitious role is the next step in your career - APPLY!\n\n\n**Practicalities**\n* You will work 100% remote along with our existing team\n* We work within CET office hours but are flexible to accommodate other schedules\n* We pay a good salary\n* We expect you to be fluent in English\n* The position is full-time\n* You manager will be operating from Denmark\n\n\n**Location**\n🌏 Worldwide\n \n\nBe sure to mention the words **THEN PRINT ORCHARD** when applying to show you read the job post completely. This is a beta feature to avoid spam applicants. Companies can search these words to find applicants that read this and see they're human.\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n $30,000 — $50,000/year\n \n\n#Location\n🌏 Worldwide

**The organization**\n\nRaheem (raheem.org) is the independent service for reporting police violence in the United States working to end police terror against Black people. Since launching in 2019, we’ve helped more than 2,400 people report police and tied more than 275 officers to allegations of police misconduct.\n\nWe’re a growing team of designers, data scientists, and policy experts with a shared mission, who genuinely enjoy working together while appreciating the gravity of what we are building. The organization is led by Brandon D. Anderson, a Black queer abolitionist who founded Raheem in 2017 after police killed his life partner during a routine traffic stop.\n\nWe are building extraordinary tools to confront an institutional powerhouse that has profoundly shaped the lives of Black people. Tools that make police behavior more visible, move residents to the center of policymaking, and shrink the role of the police.\n\nThis requires imagination, hard work, and courage. **We're a startup turned app development shop. Our small, growing team partners with non-technical founders to design and build innovative new products.**\n\nWe're not out to build the next Snapchat. Instead, we create beautiful, niche software tools for B2B startup founders that can grow into profitable companies.\n\nWe work on a handful of new projects every year across industries like legal tech, higher education, cyber security and logistics. Our clients’ products have been used by brands like Dropbox, Lyft, Microsoft, Nike, Yale University and more.\n\nLast year, we made $700,000 in revenue as a company and are on track to cross $1 million this year. We’re a profitable, bootstrapped company and share our profits with our team. But we try not to take ourselves too seriously. 🙃\n\n**Talented back-end developer**\nWe're looking for a talented back-end developer based in the US or Canada to help take the lead on new projects. We use Django, Postgres and Heroku on most projects but we care more about your talent and willingness to learn than experience with a particular framework.\n\n**Willingness to help out with the front-end**\nBecause we're a small team working on a wide variety of projects, you’ll have to be comfortable jumping around and learning new skills. You don't have to be a unicorn, but you do need to be willing to step in and help out on the front-end. We typically work with Vue, React and React Native on the front-end.\n\n**Excellent communication skills**\nThe best developers are great communicators and teammates, not just great programmers. In this position, you’ll eventually take on the role of project lead. This means you’ll communicate directly with the client to help them make product decisions and manage the project.\n\n**Ability to balance trade-offs**\nAt Krit, you’ll solve challenging technical problems, but you’ll also help clients to build entirely new businesses. We look for people who can balance trade offs and are excited by the impact on the business as much as the technology.\n\n**You care about testing and documentation**\nWe want our clients to be successful long term, so we build everything to be able to hand it off at any point. This means good test coverage, continuous integration, clean documentation and lots of comments. It has the added bonus of making it easier for new team members to get up to speed quickly on projects! \n\nBe sure to mention the words **USAGE GROW SUCCESS** when applying to show you read the job post completely. This job post is closed and the position is probably filled. Please do not apply.
We are looking for a talented mid to senior client-facing lead developer to join our team at Prominent Edge. We are a small company of 20+ developers and designers who put themselves in the shoes of our customers and make sure we deliver strong solutions. Our projects and the needs of our customers vary greatly; therefore, we always choose the technology stack and approach that best suits the particular problem and the goals of our customers. As a result, we want developers who do high-quality work and are up for learning and applying new technologies when appropriate. We want developers who have an in-depth knowledge of at least one modern web technology stack. Candidates need to be full stack developers even if they have a strong preference for either frontend or backend. We understand that for our team to perform at its best, everyone needs to work on tasks that they enjoy. **Tribe - a global sports startup based** in New Zealand and the Czech Republic is hiring a developer. **We're looking for talented Javascript developer **(can be either backend, frontend or full stack). **We're a 100% remote team, and have both revenue and traction.**\n\nTribe is a single destination for sport that is changing how people follow and consume sports results, news and information.\n\n# Responsibilities\n **Responsibilities for backend developer:**\n\nSpeed and accurate information is everything in the sports results world. As we're growing, the API and other services are becoming slower. We need to optimise, cache data, rewrite parts and build tools that help us identify weak spots. The challenge is that most of the time there is relatively little traffic, but during the busy times (when big games are on, largely over the weekend) our usage sky-rockets and the servers are unable to cope. \n\n**Responsibilities for frontend developer:**\n\nBesides the free consumer app (Ionic) we provide widgets (React) to big media partners (news media, broadcasters, betting agencies), who put these in their apps and on their websites. We're planning to build a web version of Tribe and the vision is to have one codebase for app / web / widget in React. \n\n# Requirements\n- Awesome JavaScript skills.\n- Frontend: experience with React apps (ideally big ones).\n- Backend: experience with micro service NodeJS architecture, AWS and MongoDB.\n- Proactive, ability to work independently - we're a small, remote dev team.\n- Willing to learn new things!\n\n**Offering:**\n\n- Work remotely from anywhere in the world.\n- Opportunity to work on an interesting product, with a global reach and user base.\n- Compensation negotiable based on experience.\n- Potential for equity. \n\nBe sure to mention the words **NEGLECT HOLLOW NATION** when applying to show you read the job post completely. ***In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.***\n\n\n**Job type:** Full-time \n**Role:** Full-Stack Developer \n**Experience level:** Mid-Level, Senior\n**Industry:** Cryptocurrency, Cybersecurity, Network Security, Blockchain \n**Company size:** 11-50 people\n**Location:** San Diego, CA, San Juan, Puerto Rico, Tokyo, Japan or **Remote**\n\n\n**Join the Swarm**\n\nAt Swarm Technologies, Inc, we're developing innovative solutions to age-old information security problems - and we need your help.\n\nAt its core, PolySwarm is market design enabled by Ethereum smart contracts. We are programming a market that will produce crowdsourced threat intelligence (malware detection today, more tomorrow).\n\n** Blockchain experience not required! **\n\nWe're operating in a very new industry and we're prepared to bring candidates up to speed! Few sectors are hot as blockchain right now - talk about professional growth\n\nNo one has done this before. We'll get things wrong - and that's okay! With your help, we'll get fewer things wrong, identify mistakes earlier, and improve processes to prevent future missteps.\n\nYou're in on the ground floor - you'll have a say in what we do and how we do it. By joining Swarm Technologies, you'll be joining a dynamic team on the bleeding edge of information (computer) security and blockchain - answering questions few have thought to ask.\n\n**If you're interested in**\n- technical challenges that cannot be solved via iteration\n- blockchain (Ethereum smart contracts in particular)\n- information security\n- malware reverse engineering automation\n- market design (a la Who Gets What and Why by Alvin Roth)\n- software development\n- unknown unknowns\n\n**then we're interested in you!**\n\n**The Ideal Candidate Is:**\n- independently motivated & self-directing\n- introspective: able to identify weak spots / problem areas our existing processes or code and suggest / implement solutions\n- takes an interest in information security topics - huge props for capture the flag (CTF) participation!\n- enjoys developing software\n\n**At Swarm Technologies, you'll tackle both big-picture and tactical problems, the following are a few examples.**\n\n**Example Big-Picture Problems**\n\nThe Ethereum block time leaves a lot to be desired for a marketplace that intends to supplant millions of malware scans a day.\n\nHow do we best reconcile millions of scans daily with a 15 second block time and today's block size limits?\n\nIn sum: PolySwarm must scale and must support scanning artifacts (files) that may contain confidential information. How do we best reconcile these needs with a default-public, Proof-of-Work Ethereum ecosystem?\n\n**Example Tactical Problem**\n\nPolySwarm is a twist on a prediction market - where security experts attempt to "predict" whether a file / URL or network traffic is malicious or benign. Alongside their prediction ("assertion"), experts "stake" a configurable amount of Nectar (NCT), PolySwarm's crypto token.\n\nSuppose Expert A is lazy and Expert B is a hardworking, upstanding security expert. It would be bad if Expert A was able to simply duplicate the assertions coming from Expert B, exploiting Expert B's hard work for profit. If assertions are placed directly on the public Ethereum blockchain, Expert A can do exactly that.\n\nHow can we design a system that keeps the assertion secret (so Expert B is out of luck) until some configured time, after which assertions are revealed and payouts distributed appropriately?\n\n**The Ideal Candidate possesses demonstrable experience in some or all of these technologies.**\n\nPolySwarm employs the following tools & languages:\nPython\nDocker (+ Swarm, Services, Stack)\nKubernetes (+ Helm)\nTerraform\nAnsible\nSolidity\nReact\nJavaScript\nRust\n\nRefer to our GitHub for examples of our usage: https://github.com/polyswarm\n\n**We Offer**\n- Competitive salaries\n- Excellent health, dental, vision coverage\n- Paid vacation days\n- Travel (if you like). We have offices in San Diego, Puerto Rico and Tokyo and we often find ourselves travelling elsewhere. If travel interests you, we can scratch that itch.\n- Flexible work hours - outside of scheduled meetings, we don't care when you work, we care about your output.\n- Powerful servers, laptops, desktops - whatever you need to be most productive! \n\nBe sure to mention the words **PLUG POTATO EASILY** when applying to show you read the job post completely. This is a beta feature to avoid spam applicants. Companies can search these words to find applicants that read this and see they're human.\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n No salary data published by company so we estimated salary based on previous jobs related to Web3, Blockchain and Ethereum jobs that are similar:\n\n $80,000 — $140,000/year\n

# Senior Node.js + React Developer\nHigherEducation partners with many of the most recognizable names in the online education industry to help them build their programs and expand student bases. We have 75M annual site visitors and are very good at what we do. We also love to use cutting edge technologies to make developer life enjoyable and more productive.\n\n**What kind of stuff do we do?**\nThis past year, we drastically improved the performance and architecture of our React + Node + Docker apps as our application traffic tripled. Some highlights were features like: \n- Breaking some larger services into smaller, lightning-fast apps that are fun to work on\n- Implementing a newer, shinier, A/B testing platform that allows us to run experiments both server and client side\n- Cutting 50-80% off of our response times\n- Next year, who knows just how high we can fly!\n\nWe're looking for more on-site (Houston) or remote (anywhere in the US) engineers to join the team to help us hit these goals and keep making use of the great new tech that is emerging every year.\n\nPay is competitive, benefits are great (e.g. 6% 401k matching), the team is tons of fun, and a great work/life balance truly makes you enjoy the time spent on the job.\n\nIf you're awesome at building client and server applications with JavaScript and want to enjoy your engineering-life because you get to use the right tool for the job with no red tape, apply today.\n\n**The ideal candidate will have:**\n- A full stack mentality - you're equally happy in React apps as you are working on the API and cache layer. Some projects you'll be doing both, sometimes just one, sometimes just the other.\n- Meaningful experience with React apps - you're a senior - you've done it, you have opinions, lessons learned and perhaps some horror stories\n - Meaningful experience with building Node.js API's - you can spin up an API complete with DB and auth with no hand-holding. You also know how to improve performance when requests get slow.\n - Essentially, you love to be involved with the whole stack minus Ops and aren't afraid to take on new and challenging areas, whether it's performance and scaling, DevOps, or in-depth CSS optimization.\n\n**Bonus points go to the contestants displaying:**\n- Experience working with new CSS features like Custom properties and CSS Grid\n- Production experience with building and consuming GraphQL API's\n- Strong knowledge of Docker (we deploy everything via Docker)\n- AWS – specifically EC2, RDS, Elasticache, Lambda, VPC\n- Experience with Docker CI workflows using hosted or on-prem CI platforms such as CircleCI, Codeship, DroneCI, Jenkins, etc\n- DNS, load balancing, failover & scaling strategies\n- Having the right emoji and gif for every situation\n\n**Benefits & Perks:**\n- The short of it: we want you to be really glad that you work here and laugh when recruiters email you opportunities elsewhere\n- 6% 401k matching\n- 100% health / vision / dental for you & partial subsidies for the rest of your family\n- 15 vacation & sick days / yr. + many U.S. & company holidays\n- Flexible hours - getting the work done and communicating well is what matters most\n- Gym membership reimbursement up to $100/mo - because those biceps aren't going to grow themselves\n- You get to work with Evan. Believe me, we all appreciate this. \n\nBe sure to mention the words **TRIAL VACANT FINAL** when applying to show you read the job post completely. This is a beta feature to avoid spam applicants. Companies can search these words to find applicants that read this and see they're human.\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n No salary data published by company so we estimated salary based on previous jobs related to Node, React and Fullstack jobs that are similar:\n\n $60,000 — $100,000/year\n

Helpjuice is a SaaS product with large Enterprise customers such as Hertz, US Government, Nginx and others. We help many companies with their help center / knowledge base via our product: Helpjuice.com\nWe're a smaller, yet growing software company, where everyone wears multiple hats. It's a team of excellent people, who are all willing to help each other, because it's the way we work / our culture.\nWe're currently seeking a Senior Rails developer, with great English, and even better Rails skills. You should be really good with English -- almost excellent! :-)\nHere's what we're looking for:\n- Great English. Seriously, don't waste your time if your English isn't good enough to write/read/talk with it daily, with all of our team.\n- Really good in Rails (backend) + Javascript (Frontend). Rails alone won't get you much, and you know that -- thats why you need JS to build high performance fast web apps in 2018..\n- Cool person. We'll be working a lot together, we want you to enjoy it, just like we do!\nHere's what we offer:\n- Well paid salary. We don't monkey around, we pay well if we think you're great.\n- Smart team. Expect to learn...a LOT. Not just in development, but in other areas aswell, as you'll be working w/ other team mates (support, sales, product management)\n- Interesting product to work on. Imagine a product that thousands of businesses rely on, and that's entirely bootstrapped -- Yes, you'll for sure learn a lot, and have fun...and be a bit stressed at times :-)\n- Flexible hours/management. I'm the CEO - and I'm writing this job post. I'm very hands off with my team, because we have a great team -- everyone is great, which is why I can just rely on them to do their job and NOT micromanage. TLDR; It's a fun work environment :-)\nHow To Apply?\nFill out ALL the questions in our application form -- if you don't want to share code samples, we totally get it, but we believe no good developer has 0 public repos on their Github (you may argue with us, but this is our policy). \n\nBe sure to mention the words **WRESTLE JAGUAR DICE** when applying to show you read the job post completely. Since 2005, over 300,000 websites have used Crazy Egg to understand how their audience experiences their website and their product. We are pioneers in data visualization, in conversion rate optimization, and in helping small and medium businesses get immense value quickly and accurately from incredibly large data sets. That's what we love to do. We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer to help build on that foundation and improve our product, and the tools, technology and platform we use to help our customers.\nYou will be joining Crazy Egg as a Full Stack Engineer and help in scaling our systems and move us towards a service oriented architecture. Here's what that looks like at Crazy Egg, and here are the values you’d be excited to stand behind:\n\n**As a team we strive for:**\n\n- Direct, undeniable, customer impact. We have incredible customers that we're grateful for and we believe the best teammates are the ones who, regardless of function or discipline, are eager and excited to find a way to connect their work directly to customers.\n- Trusted independence with interdependence. You are fully trusted as a full owner of the work you do; self-determined, responsible, accountable, and celebrated. With that freedom, you acknowledge, a broader social context. We work together, we partner, we collaborate, and we make sure the work we take on and hand off is done thoughtfully and with care.\n- Assume positive intent. All outcomes may not be what we desired, what we expected, or what we needed. But they happened because people take chances and are willing to make decisions. We assume people try their hardest and try their best, we assume their actions started with the most positive of intentions. Every conversation, assessment, piece of feedback, starts with that assumption, on both sides. This ensures our team is built on a foundation of trust.\n- Care and inclusion; sincerely. We work at Crazy Egg because we believe in the opportunity, we believe in the vision, we believe in our people, and we believe in our ability to build something wonderful. It is those beliefs that also mean we care about the market, we care about the vision, we care about each other, and we care about building something wonderful. When all of this falls into place, our customers are able to build better businesses and succeed.\n\n**As an engineer what we hope you strive for:**\n\n- The ability to work independently and with other engineers to develop new user experience-focused web applications, or provide support for existing systems.\n- Have the ability to work on multiple parts of a web application, from internal backend APIs to dynamic frontend interfaces.\n- Collaborate with designers, front-end specialists, other engineers, stakeholders, and clients to understand business goals, analyze requirements, formulate solutions, and ensure the successful execution and delivery of the end product using the best technologies.\n- Assist in scoping, estimating, and planning of projects.\n- Participate in code review, pairing, and other forms of knowledge sharing.\n- Support of production applications may be required on some projects.\n- Mentoring and helping others grow and make an impact\n\n**Experience and Skills we’re looking for:**\n\n- Prior experience in developing single page applications - We use Ember.js.\n- Prior experience developing web applications using web frameworks - We use Ruby on Rails.\n- Excellent planning, communication and collaboration skills\n- Understanding of best practices for web development and software design\n\n**Nice to have, but not required experience:**\n\n- Previous remote working experience\n- Prior client services, consulting, or freelancing experience\n- Working in a startup environment\n- Previous role as a team leader\n- Working on web applications that process large volumes of data and/or receive high volumes of traffic\n- Using a variety of AWS tools\n- Using Docker and Kubernetes in a production environment\n\n**Perks and Benefits**\n\n- We believe in building the best team possible, regardless of geographic location. Our team is fully distributed all over the world and we believe in working where you’re the most productive and happiest.\n- We have full trust in you and believe in finding a good balance. Work should be a marathon, not a sprint, and so we have an unlimited vacation policy.\n- We provide full benefits of Dental/Medical.\n- We believe in supporting your growth and opportunity. Crazy Egg was founded 14 years ago by accomplished founders. If you’re looking to learn what it takes to one day break off on your own and start your own startup, we think this is a good opportunity for you.\n\nDirect applicants only. No recruiters please. \n\nBe sure to mention the words **FOSSIL SALMON TIRED** when applying to show you read the job post completely. This is a beta feature to avoid spam applicants.
