\n\nAbout us\n\nFlashbots started in 2020 as a research and development organization formed to mitigate the negative externalities and existential risks posed by Maximal Extractable Value (MEV). Since then, we have had an immense impact on the world of crypto through mev-geth, Flashbots Protect, MEV-Boost, MEV-Share, our open research and soon-to-be SUAVE.\n\n\nOur mission is clear: illuminate, democratize and distribute.\nWe seek to ensure that the value created on decentralized, public blockchains is transparent and distributed. We do this by conducting cutting-edge research, building mission-critical products, and coordinating a diverse community with competing interests.\n\nOur vibe is astro-pirate-punk: irreverent, anarchic, excellent, autonomous. Weโ€™re explorers, hackers, builders, thinkers. We are relaxed, composed, and at ease in the world, but beneath our suave exterior, we do not have the time or inclination to be anything but the best.\n\n\n\nWhy take this role\n\nJoin Flashbots as an Integrations Engineer to be part of a pioneering team addressing complex challenges, embracing new technologies, and contributing significantly to our core products. This opportunity is ideal for self-starters with a builder mentality who thrive in dynamic environments and are passionate about ensuring a true decentralized, permissionless and censorship-resistant crypto future.\n\nWhat youโ€™ll do\n\n* Spearhead the integration of Flashbots' products like SUAVE with our ecosystem partners, driving collaboration and delivering impactful solutions.\n\n* Foster the growth of our partner ecosystem, overseeing the entire integration process from initial engagement to full implementation.\n\n* Craft and enhance technical documentation to set a high standard for clarity and utility.\n\n* Guide our partnerships and engineering collaborations to ensure alignment and progress on mutual objectives and projects.\n\n* Gather and channel community feedback to shape our internal strategies and product development.\n\n\n\n\n\nWho you are\n\n* Demonstrated expertise in developing production systems using Golang or Rust, ideally in a hand on crypto project.\n\n* Proficient in working asynchronously, both in teams and independently\n\n* Adaptable, accountable, and focused on high-impact solutions.\n\n* T-shaped skills, with depth in a specific area and breadth across multiple domains\n\n* Nice-to-have is deep familiarity with the Ethereum ecosystem, experience across the Ethereum stack, and contributions to open-source projects\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDetails that matter\n\n\n* Significantly above market rate equity compensation package\n\n* Unlimited PTO with a high level of freedom and autonomy for your work\n\n* Attractive health coverage package for US employees\n\n* $3000 Yearly budget for your individual learning and development goals\n\n* Work alongside the brightest minds in the crypto space\n\n* Help save the world by ensuring crypto remains decentralized, permissionless and censorship-resistant\n\n* Remote working - work from anywhere in the world\n\n* Paid travel - 2 x team on-site in different parts of the world per year plus periodic travel to events\n\n\n\n\n\nAt Flashbots, we are committed to building a diverse and inclusive team. Clearmatics is hiring a
Remote Blockchain Core Developer Golang Ethereum

\nClearmatics is a protocol engineering company. We are building a new financial market architecture that is more open, fair, and resilient than the legacy systems that are in use today. We develop protocols and software that create new markets for risk and more efficient infrastructure for trading, backed by a robust and scalable blockchain network, and secured with modern cryptographic techniques and economic mechanism design.\n\nClearmatics is based in London but operates on a 'remote first' model. We welcome candidates from all over the world. We have close ties to the Open Source and Ethereum communities, with Vitalik Buterin as an adviser.\n\nThe Engineering team at Clearmatics is responsible for developing our blockchain software at Layer 1 and Layer 2. At the core of our stack is the Autonity client, the node software that powers our blockchain network. It is based on Ethereum (go-ethereum) and is secured by Tendermint Proof-of-Stake consensus. Our decentralised platforms are built on smart contracts and decentralised applications, and are supported by backend services in Go.\n\nWe're looking to hire aย Senior Software Engineerย to expand our Layer 1 Engineering team.\n\nABOUT YOU\n\nAs an experienced backend software engineer with a good knowledge of blockchain protocols, you know what it takes to ship a secure, reliable, and performant blockchain node client. You write clean and maintainable code, and you take the time to promote good software engineering practices. You understand the importance of careful protocol design choices and can anticipate the impact of changes to the code base. You are able to communicate your thoughts clearly in writing and in discussions.\n\nRESPONSIBILITIES\n\n\n* Develop and maintain the blockchain node client (go-ethereum fork) and related protocol smart contracts (Solidity)\n\n* Implement new protocol-level features based on academic papers, technical specifications, and proof of concepts\n\n* Refactor the code base for better maintainability and to meet performance and reliability requirements\n\n* Develop distributed system tests and frameworks to verify the correctness of our protocol and software\n\n* Participate in team and community decision-making about technical design and architecture considerations\n\n* Participate in code reviews and evaluating contributions from the open source community\n\n* Contribute to documenting and educating the community about our protocols and blockchain software\n\n* Address bugs reports or security incidents and engage with users and researchers to understand and resolve them\n\n\n\n\nREQUIREMENTS\n\n\n* At least a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related field) and 5+ years software development experience\n\n* Proficiency in a systems language like Go, Rust, or C++ with a focus on network and concurrent programming (Go is preferred)\n\n* Experience developing and debugging complex data structures, algorithms, and network I/O in a Linux environment\n\n* Development experience on a blockchain node client (preferably Ethereum-like) and familiarity with smart contract programming\n\n* Knowledge of blockchain fundamentals such as distributed consensus, peer-to-peer messaging, cryptography primitives\n\n\n\n\nBONUS POINTS\n\n\n* Knowledge of Ethereum protocols and technologies (e.g. devp2p, EVM, Web3, Solidity) and go-ethereum internals in particular\n\n* Ideally 2+ years solid experience with Go programming and some open source contributions that you can highlight\n\n* Knowledge of distributed systems fundamentals such as fault tolerance, consensus, voting, leader election, failure detection\n\n* Experience designing or implementing Proof of Stake and BFT-style consensus algorithms (e.g. Tendermint)\n\n\n\n\nDon't worry if you don't meet all the requirements. If you are talented and have what it takes, then we'd still like to hear from you.\n\nOur compensation isย blockchain competitiveย and dependent on your skills & experience. \n\n#Salary and compensation\n No salary data published by company so we estimated salary based on similar jobs related to Ethereum, Design, Node, Golang, Engineer, Linux and Backend jobs that are similar:\n\n $70,000 — $110,000/year\n

Porting contracts to Arbitrum requires no code changes or downloads since itโ€™s compatible with existing Ethereum developer languages and tooling.\nOur team is extremely passionate and works tirelessly to bridge the gap between what blockchain is and what blockchain can be. We strive to maintain an atmosphere that fosters innovation and new ideas through collaboration, research, and deep discussions. After raising an initial round of $3.8M in seed funding in January 2019 and a $20M series A, as well as a $100M series B in 2021, we are ready to hire additional team members that have an interest in working in the blockchain space and a knack for approaching problems in unconventional ways.\nWho you are:\n\n\n\n* Possess extensive production experience with Golang\n\n* Excited to learn and develop blockchain technology (No experience yet? No problem!)\n\n* Possess a strong sense of ownership in your work, which drives you to find ways to do things better and faster\n\n* Always up-to-speed on the latest technologies\n\n* Constantly on the lookout for new and innovative ways to solve complex problems through rigorous experimentation\n\n* Your communication style is open, transparent, and direct, and you consistently work in tight collaboration with your teammates\n\n* Always open to feedback, new ideas, and opportunities for self-improvement\n\n* You look for ways to help out beyond the scope of your day-to-day work\n\n\n\nWhat you've done:\n\n\n\n* Made significant contributions to the products youโ€™ve worked on in your career\n\n* Have dabbled in, educated yourself on, or are experienced working on blockchain technology\n\n* Eager to bring cutting-edge research to the real world and help build a platform for the next generation of cryptocurrency applications\n\n* Experience working with compilers, architecting systems and developing SDKs\n\n* Security-minded and always keeping an eye out for potential threats and vulnerabilities in your code\n\n* Mastered CS fundamentals, either in a formal university program or through self-learning\n\n\nWe understand it takes a diverse team of highly intelligent, passionate, curious, and creative people to solve the challenges involved in developing and improving Arbitrum. Our dynamic team has incredible perspectives to share, just as we know you do, and we take great pride in being an equal opportunity workplace. \n\n#Salary and compensation\n No salary data published by company so we estimated salary based on similar jobs related to Ethereum, Senior, Golang and Engineer jobs that are similar:\n\n $65,000 — $110,000/year\n

Obol is hiring a
Remote Senior Frontend Engineer DApp Development

\nWho Are We?\n\n\nObol Labs is a remote-first research and software development team focused on Proof of Stake infrastructure for public blockchain networks. Specific topics of focus are Internet Bonds, Distributed Validator Technology, and Multi-Operator Validation. The core team includes 35 members spread across +14 countries.\n\n\nThe core team is building the Obol Network, a protocol to foster trust-minimized staking through multi-operator validation. This will enable low-trust access to Ethereum staking yield, which can be used as a core building block in various Web3 products.\n\n\nThe Network\n\n\nThe network can be best visualized as a work layer that sits directly on top of the base layer consensus. This work layer is designed to provide the base layer with more resiliency and decentralization as it scales. In this chapter of Ethereum, we will move on to the next great scaling challenge, which is stake centralization. Layers like Obol are critical to the long-term viability and resiliency of public networks, especially networks like Ethereum.\n\n\nObol as a layer is focused on scaling main chain staking by providing permissionless access to Distributed Validators. The network utilizes a middleware implementation of Distributed Validator Technology (DVT), to enable the operation of distributed validator clusters that can preserve validators' current client and remote signing configurations.\n\n\nSimilar to how roll-up technology laid the foundation for L2 scaling implementations, we believe DVT will do the same for scaling the consensus layer while preserving decentralization. Staking infrastructure is entering its protocol phase of evolution, which must include trust-minimized staking networks that can be plugged into at scale. We believe DVT will evolve into a widely used primitive and will ensure the security, resiliency, and decentralization of public networks.\n\n\nThe Obol Network develops and maintains three core public goods that will eventually work together through circular economics:\n\n\nThe DV Launchpad, a User Interface for bootstrapping and managing Distributed Validators\n\n\nCharon, a Golang based middleware client that enables validators to run in a fault-tolerant, distributed manner.\n\n\nObol Splits, a set of solidity contracts for the formation of Distributed Validators tailored to different use cases such as DeFi, Liquid Staking, and Fractionalized Deposits \n\n\n\n\nSustainable Public Goods\n\n\nObol is inspired by previous work on Ethereum public goods and experimenting with circular economics. We believe that to unlock innovation in staking use cases, a credibly neutral layer must exist for innovation to flow and evolve vertically. Without this layer, highly available uptime will continue to be a moat.\n\n\nThe Obol Network will become an open, community-governed, self-sustaining project over the coming months and years. Together we will incentivize, build, and maintain distributed validator technology that makes public networks a more secure and resilient foundation to build on top of.\n\n\nThe Role \n\n\nThe focus of this role is on developing and enhancing React-based web applications for interacting with the Ethereum blockchain to create Distributed Validators. This includes creating user-friendly interfaces, integrating with wallets, and ensuring the applications are absolutely secure and reliable.\n\n\nThe goal of this role is to enable the proliferation of Distributed Validators in the Ethereum Staking Ecosystem, by making them easy to create, view, understand, and interact with. This role requires working with agency and autonomy. It requires collaboration with cross-functional internal teams as well as dealing with external stakeholders. Obolโ€™s Distributed Validator Launchpad, Obolโ€™s static website, Obolโ€™s typescript packages, and other applications will be under this roleโ€™s remit. \n\n\n\nResponsibilities\n* Develop and implement new features for our web applications using React, showcasing your expertise in creating user-centric solutions.\n* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners, designers, and QA engineers, to ensure seamless delivery of high-quality products.\n* Contribute to Obolโ€™s coding standards, design patterns, and development methodologies.\n* Drive innovation by researching and adopting the latest trends and technologies in the React ecosystem, ensuring our applications remain secure, competitive, and cutting-edge.\n* Act as a technical mentor for junior developers, providing guidance and support to help them grow and excel in their roles.\n* Collaborate with external partners integrating Obol technology into their dapps using the Obol SDK.\n* Take responsibility for maintaining and enhancing our current products, including our component library (obol-ui) and DApp (dv-launchpad).\n* Improve the accessibility of our interfaces to all types of internet users.\n* Harden the security of our React software and its supply chain.  \n\n\n\nRequirements\n* Professional experience in React-based Ethereum Application Development (examples below).\n* What we use for React Development: Typescript, Next.js, React Hook Form, SWR, Zustand, @headlessui/react, stitches.dev, tailwindCSS and others. \n* What we use for Ethereum Development: Foundry, Hardhat, Ethers.js, web3-react, @obolnetwork/obol-sdk, @metamask/eth-sig-util, @0xsplits/splits-sdk(-react), @gnosis.pm/safe-core-sdk, @synthetixio/synpress, @chainsafe/(bls/discv5/ssz) and others. \n* Previous delivery of react websites that enable non-custodial, wallet-based interaction with mainnet Ethereum or a similar EVM network with more than $100k in value handled. \n* Knowledge of JS/TS security and testing best practices.\n* Knowledge of JS/TS CI/CD best practices.\n* Experience working with Agile Software Development methodologies.\n* Web3 professional experience.\n* Proven ability to maintain and contribute to Open Source repos \n* Timezone between UTC-2 to UTC+3 \n\n\n\nNice to have\n* Ethereum staking experience.\n* Node.js or other backend development experience.\n* Solidity development experience.\n* Familiarity with docker and/or running servers.\n* SQL/NoSQL experience.\n* Experience working in a distributed remote team.\n\n\n\nBenefits\n* Fully Remote Working and flexible hours.\n* Meet the team at our Annual Offsites.\n* Chance to attend crypto and staking conferences.\n* Working with the purpose of decentralising Ethereum.\n* Generous paid time off.\n* Budget for equipment.\n* Budget for training or education.\n\n\n\n\n\nThank you for your interest. We build products to maximally decentralize public blockchains, redistribute MEV, and empower users. We work closely with our community to ensure that our products have a positive impact, are secure, and can be used in production at scale.\n\nOur Impact\nSince the launch of Flashbots, we have had an immense impact on the world of cryptocurrency. The Flashbots Auction was launched in alpha in January 2021 and was quickly adopted by almost all Ethereum miners. Prior to Ethereum's Merge in 2022, Flashbots launched MEV-Boost, a temporary solution for out-of-protocol proposer-builder separation. MEV-Boost has since been adopted by over 90% of Ethereum validators and has significantly influenced the Ethereum PoS ecosystem. Now, Flashbots continues its journey with the introduction of MEV-Share as we continue our journey toward SUAVE.\n\nOur Research\nFlashbots Research is an independent arm of the organization that aims to become the hub of MEV research. In addition to conducting in-house analysis, Flashbots Research collaborates with external researchers at other institutions via an external grants program. Flashbots Research continues to publish seminal research on MEV, covering a wide range of topics including cross-chain MEV, EIP1559 and MEV, how ETH2 affects MEV, SGX and privacy, and more. For a full list of publications, visit writings.flashbots.net.\n\nWhy Flashbots?\n\n* Competitive salary\n\n* Significantly above market rate equity compensation package\n\n* Unlimited PTO with a high level of freedom and autonomy for your work\n\n* Attractive health cover package for US employees\n\n* Yearly budget for your individual learning and development goals\n\n* Work alongside the brightest minds in the crypto space\n\n* Help build the future of blockchain technology\n\n* Remote working - travel and work from anywhere in the world\n\n* Paid travel - team on-sites in different parts of the world, several times a year\n\n\n\nAt Flashbots, we are committed to building a diverse and inclusive team.
