The Role\n\nThe Navigator team at Addepar is growing!\n\nNavigator is a quantitative liquidity risk projection tool that is one of the key components of Addepar's multi-product ecosystem. Brought into the Addepar family as part of an acquisition in 2021, Addepar has continued to double down on investing in this critical add-on, as we've scaled well beyond the multi-million ARR goal first set for this product line.\n\nAs we continue to scale, a need has opened up for a hands-on Engineering Manager who would bring to bear their unique expertise with the existing Engineering team, with exciting opportunities to extend the scope for this role longer term, as the product continues to push onward into future global expansion mode.\n\nAddepar takes a market-based approach to pay. A successful candidateโ€™s starting pay will be determined based on the role, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base salary for roles in Colorado, California, and New York.\n\nThe current range for this role is $158,000 - $248,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.\n\nYour recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. Additionally, these ranges reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits.\nWhat Youโ€™ll Do\n\n\n* Lead a team of 3+ remote/onsite engineers with a mixed tenure level, applying well-thought out management techniques for driving performance and scaling the group.\n\n* Collaborate multi-functionally with product owners, designers, GTM teams, program managers and other Engineering leads to deliver for our clients.\n\n* Longer term: expand your skills to include managing into a global engineering organization, with opportunities for wider responsibilities related to the expansion of the team into a truly 24/7 global operation.\n\n\n\n\nOur engineering stack is primarily composed of a Python backend with a React frontend; experience in these technologies is preferred, although there is some flexibility to learn on more in-depth around these technologies on the job.\nWho You Are \n\n\n* 7+ years experience as a professional software engineer with at least 2+ years leading successful teams. A proven ability to collaborate with and mentor other specialists.\n\n* A strong, hands-on technical approach. A desire to demonstrate your technical expertise, and to focus and improve the abilities of those on your team.\n\n* Ability to drive delivery within predefined goal-setting and execution frameworks such as objectives & key results.
