This role will be critical in ensuring developers can build and scale applications built with the Stacks blockchain. The ideal candidate has a background working on developer-focused products in either the tech or crypto industry. You will be responsible for leading the design efforts for the Product team at Hiro, as well as contributing to the design culture across the company.\nWhat you'll do\n\n\n* \n\nWork closely with the Design Lead to maintain and evolve Hiro’s design, ensuring quality and consistency across product and brand.\n\n\n* \n\nWork closely with the Product Manager on continuous product discovery, experimentation, and problem-solving.\n\n\n* \n\nWork closely with the team’s Engineering Manager and Engineers to understand technical possibilities and constraints, and to ensure a smooth design handoff.\n\n\n* \n\nCollaborate with the team and company at large during both research and integration phases, incorporating various points of view and incorporating stakeholder needs\n\n\n\n\nWhat we’re looking for\n\n\n* \n\n7+ years crafting high-quality UX and UI for early- or growth-stage startups in a lead or senior role\n\n\n* \n\nDemonstrable experience with repeatedly and singlehandedly executing the product design process from start to finish\n\n\n* \n\nExtensive experience working on consumer or technical apps with a strong sense of both visual aesthetics and usability\n\n\n* \n\nFamiliarity with the developer mindset as well as comfort with reading through technical materials and participating in technical conversations\n\n\n* \n\nExperience working with front-end engineers and preparing ‘ready for implementation’ designs\n\n\n* \n\nExperience working with GitHub for project management\n\n\n\n\nWhat we’d like to see\n\n\n* \n\n5+ years of regular experience with Figma or equivalent collaborative-design application\n\n\n* \n\n3+ years of experience with usertesting.com or similar user-testing service\n\n\n* \n\nExperience building design systems\n\n\n\n\n\nWe’d love to hear from you even if you don’t have experience or interest in every bullet.
