Remote Customer Support Engineer

\nAbout Starburst\n\n\nAt Starburst, we are working to dismantle the status quo of data silos and vendor lock-in every single day. For decades, database companies have held their customers hostage and we believe thatโ€™s just plain wrong. Starburst offers a full-featured data lake analytics platform, built on open source Trino. Our platform includes all the capabilities needed to discover, organize, and consume data without the need for time-consuming and costly migration projects. Today more than 300 leading organizations trust us to make better decisions faster. \n\n\nThough Starburst has raised $414M in venture funding from top investors, we were founded in a rather unusual way as we bootstrapped the business with customers and revenue from the very beginning! We are a remote-first company with employees all over the world and are proud to be named a Best Place to Work. Come join our team of All-Stars!\n\n\nAs a Starburst Data Customer Support Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting our SEP (Starburst Enterprise Platform) and Galaxy customers that submit break/fix and other technical inquiries. You will work on a wide range of support matters including but not limited to configuration, security, integration, and cluster issues to ensure our customers can maximize their experience with Starburst products. Additionally, this role serves as a liaison to ensure that customers receive appropriate and timely service. \n\n\nWe're looking for highly motivated individuals with backgrounds in deploying and debugging complex systems. Background in distributed systems, Hadoop, cloud technologies, security, DBMSs, and navigating a complex Java codebase are beneficial technical skills. Equally important are strong communication skills, and the ability to function in a fast-paced dynamic environment when needed. \n\n\nTrino encompasses a wide range of technologies, therefore a curiosity to learn and explore various approaches and solutions is a must, and most important is the desire and ability to learn and work cross-functionally in a highly customer-success-oriented company.\n\n\nWorking hours are 7am - 4pm EST.\n\n\n\nAs a Customer Support Engineer at Starburst you will: \n* Respond to and resolve Galaxy & SEP customer inquiries via chat, email, or call session, within specified SLA windows\n* Contribute to our customer-facing self-serve knowledge base\n* Collaborate with our pre and post-sales teams to ensure cross-functional alignment and customer satisfaction\n* Enthusiastically participate in ongoing personal learning including active participation in team training and development\n* Escalate and manage escalated issues with Engineering to ensure good outcomes for our customers\n\n\n\nSome of the things we look for: \n* Big Data (Hadoop, Data Lakes, Spark)\n* Docker and Kubernetes\n* Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP)\n* Security - Authentication (LDAP, OAuth2.0) and Authorization technologies\n* SSL/TLS\n* Linux Skills\n* DBMS Concepts/SQL Exposure Languages: SQL, Java, Python, Bash\n\n\n\n\n$85,000 - $105,000 a yearThe base salary range for this US full-time position is $85,000 - $105,000 (+ bonus), subject to standard withholding and applicable taxes. All candidates receive equity (ISO) and access to a comprehensive benefits offering.  The base salary range reflects the minimum and maximum target for candidates across all US locations. Work location, skills, experience, and any relevant education or training determine the compensation awarded to the candidate. The Recruiting Team or Hiring Manager can share more about the specific salary range with you during the recruitment process.\n\nWhy build your career at Starburst?\n\n\nWe live by our three core company values: Character, Competence, and Ownership and are a team of top performers. We are each in the driverโ€™s seat, shaping our organization and working together towards our common mission. We are solving exceptionally complex and meaningful challenges here and as we innovate, we each have the opportunity to build our careers alongside Starburstsโ€™s growth.\n\n\nWe take care of our global workforce by making sure employees enjoy competitive salaries and attractive stock grants, remote-friendly work options, flexible paid time off, and more!\n\n\nStarburst Data is a diverse, equitable, and inclusive place to work. Everyone is welcome at the Starburst table and we have several employee resource groups such as Womxn At Starburst, Starburst Military, and Starburst Pride. Yuga Labs is hiring a
Remote DevEfficiency Engineer

\n\nYuga Labs is a web3 company exploring big ideas in identity, ownership, utility, and interoperability to push the crypto and NFT space forward. Since debuting with our flagship collection Bored Ape Yacht Club in April 2021, weโ€™ve created new IP for the ape ecosystem (Mutant Ape Yacht Club, Bored Ape Kennel Club), acquired other top collections (CryptoPunks and Meebits), and pulled off successful events (ApeFest) and partnerships (Rolling Stone). Phantom is hiring a
Remote Senior Software Engineer Security

Company Description\n\nOur team has experience building products at companies like Facebook, Twitter and Yelp. We've spent the past couple years building applications and infrastructure for consumers and developers on Ethereum, with a focus on Decentralized Finance (DeFi). Matcha and 0x API are just some of the crypto products we've brought to market.\n\nWhile trying to build products with delightful user experiences on Ethereum and other blockchains, we experienced first-hand what a pivotal role crypto wallets have in a project's ability to succeed and attract users.\n\nWe've also seen how existing wallet solutions can hold projects back, and keep users from experiencing DeFi, NFTs and web3 in the way they can and should be experienced.\n\nOur goal is to make it easy for anyone to engage with the expanding ecosystem of crypto projects (across blockchains), and to enable those projects to deliver the experiences their users deserve.\nRole Description\n\nOur crypto wallet is used by millions of people to access apps and financial services built on the Solana blockchain.\n\nWe are looking for someone with a deep experience with both Typescript and building desktop/mobile products. This person will be focused on helping lead feature development in our React/React Native codebase.\n\nIn this role, youโ€™ll be working on web3 technologies, working to keep peopleโ€™s funds safe and secure, and collaborating with security, design and QA to create a way for users to safely manage their seed phrase and other types of accounts.\n\nJoin us on our mission to make the digital economy safe and easy to use for everyone.\n\nThis role is fully remote; however, weโ€™re only open to candidates based in US and EU time zones. Currently, Phantom cannot support employees from the following countries and continents: Russia, Pakistan, Ukraine, Asia, Oceania, and Africa.\nResponsibilities\n\nAs a Security focused Frontend Engineer at Phantom, you will be at the forefront of creating innovative solutions for our users. Your primary role will be developing, implementing, and maintaining the Phantom Authentication & Seedless Recovery systems.\n\nYour responsibilities will include:\n\n\n* Collaborating with the design and product teams to design and develop secure, resilient, and user-friendly features.\n\n* Working closely with our security team to ensure the applications comply with the highest security standards.\n\n* Participating in code reviews to maintain high-quality code\n\n* Building and maintaining a robust seedless recovery process\n\n* Keeping up-to-date with the latest security best practices and integrating them into our systems\n\n\n\n\nThe ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of frontend development, with a particular focus on security. Proficiency in Typescript, and React is a must. Previous experience in a security-focused role would be an advantage. The candidate should also have excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.\nRequirements\n\n\n* At least 5 years of experience in software engineering\n\n* Expertise in React/React Native, and advanced knowledge of cryptography\n\n* Ability to build modern React frontends, transforming Figma designs into functional components\n\n* Relevant knowledge of modern web and mobile app security landscape, authentication, real-world attacks and mitigations.\n\n* Proficiency in CSS\n\n* Ability to ship code using test-driven development\n\n* Familiarity with version control systems such as Git\n\n* Awareness of engineering best practices\n\n* Problem-solving skills, an analytical mindset and good judgment\n\n* Self-starter with a desire to expand knowledge and skills\n\n\n\nBonus Points\n\n\n* Blockchain expertise\n\n* mobile development iOS/Android using React native\n\n* Previous experience working with Application Security Engineering teams.\n\n* Youโ€™re a Phantom user!\n\n\n\n\nThe target base salary for this role will range between $180,000 to $230,000 with the addition of equity and benefits. \nAt Side, we believe everyone should own their path. \n\n\nSide is a real estate startup that pioneered the concept of brokerage-as-a-service to help top real estate professionals create and run their own companies without having to operate a brokerage. Our proprietary platform makes the real estate transaction process far more efficient for both agents and home buyers/sellers.  \n\n\nBefore Side, exceptional real estate agents had two choices: You could join an antiquated traditional brokerage, relinquish control of your business, and pay hefty fees for marginal value. We created a third option: Own your own business and run it on the Side platform. Agents get to focus on what they do best โ€” selling real estate โ€” while Side operates in the background to facilitate their transactions, and help them grow. \n\n\nSide is led by experienced industry professionals and world-class engineers who develop technology designed to improve agent productivity and enhance the client experience.
