You’ll be a pioneering member of our engineering team partnering with an experienced Software Architect to redefine how we build, with artificial intelligence and a cutting edge tech stack. Together we’ll build something meaningful and have a genuine impact on our nation’s governments.\n\n\nResponsibilities:\n\n\n• Design and build an efficient, scalable cloud-hosted SaaS product for governments\n• Partner with a Software Architect to steer the project's architecture and code, and redefine how we build with artificial intelligence, a cutting edge tech stack, and modern patterns\n• Collaborate with a product manager, designer, and architect to develop requirements, technical and UX designs, and test plans\n• Write high quality code independently, and collaborate with and mentor engineers via code review and/or pair programming\n• Deploy, monitor, and support the systems you’ve developed, and train others to do the same\n\n\nRequirements:\n\n\n• An entrepreneurial mindset: self-driven, accountable, and a passionate team player\n• A dedication to craft: high quality code and forward thinking technical design are essential\n• Able to communicate technical and complex topics clearly\n• Experience as a tech lead, architect, or engineering manager\n• Experience with and interest in both Object Oriented and Functional programming\n• Deep experience building both Single Page Apps and APIs\n• Deep experience with TypeScript\n• Experience with Node.js\n• Experience with React\n• Experience with PostgreSQL or similar SQL databases\n\n\nPreferred Experience:\n\n\n• Experience with GraphQL\n• Experience with Kafka\n• Experience with modern DevOps tooling such as Kubernetes, ArgoCD, Grafana, GitHub Actions\n• Experience with AI and LLMs esp.
