The right person for this role is a consultative hustler who loves digging into the technical weeds to swap notes and best practices.\n\n# Responsibilities\n * The ability to provide expert guidance on DevOps concepts, including infrastructure architecture across cloud and on-premise environments, IT operations, security, and development technologies and processes\n* Strong familiarity with databases (modern and legacy), servers (Linux & Windows), networking, and/or programming languages\n* Become deeply rooted in the DevOps, Infrastructure & Security communities and be a part of the conversation\n* Monitor forums like Reddit, Stack Overflow, Slack etc to answer questions and become a genuinely helpful resource \n* Attend and speak at meetups and conferences\n* Write blog posts for our content marketing efforts\n* Build awareness amongst our target audience \n\n# Requirements\n* 5+ years of relevant industry experience\n* Strong technical background, with a deep understanding of administering databases & servers\n* Ability to communicate highly technical concepts clearly and succinctly\n* A passion for deeply technical products\n* Youre an extrovert who loves swapping notes with fellow engineers\n* Experience with content marketing is a major plus \n\nBe sure to mention the words **ANGRY FOOD WHALE** when applying to show you read the job post completely.
