0x Project is hiring a
Remote Software Engineer Frontend Matcha

\n\nCOMPANY\n\n\nAt 0x Labs, our mission is to create a tokenized world where all value can flow freely. Weโ€™re a mission-driven and diverse team composed of world class talent from Coinbase, Google, Meta, Bitso, Citi, Spotify and other top companies. We are a remote-first and fully distributed company, with team members located across all of the continents besides Antarctica. As early pioneers in the space, weโ€™ve made significant technical contributions to various Ethereum standards over the years; fun fact - our team helped establish the NFT token standard (ERC721).\n\nIn joining us, you'll take part in transforming the way that value is exchanged on a global scale. We're passionate about open-source software and decentralized technology's potential to act as an equalizing force in the world, and our technology is deployed by a wide array of projects at the forefront of internet and economic advancement.\n\nFounded in 2017, 0x Labs created and now partakes in the development of 0x protocol: the open-source, global backbone for decentralized exchange. Alongside the core protocol, we also build and maintain products and service offerings including Matcha, the search engine for tokens, and 0x API, the endpoint for multi-chain aggregated liquidity. All of these offerings allow 0x Labs to continue marching towards our vision of building a tokenized world where all value can flow freely at the best prices and with the lowest transaction costs. This way, we can help businesses eliminate the complexity of accessing decentralized markets across all layers of the Web3 exchange stack and have more time to focus on what matters most: their product. \n\n0x currently supports 8 major blockchains: Ethereum, Polygon, Fantom, Avalanche, Arbitrum, Optimism, BNB Chain, and Celo, and the 0x ecosystem has been rapidly expanding. With integrations across all of the top wallets and apps, including MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet and Coinbase NFT, Polygon Wallet, Brave, Matcha, dYdX, Zapper, Zerion, and Shapeshift, 0x is fast becoming the trusted standard for all decentralized exchange.\n\nWeโ€™re a remote-first company with core contributors in nearly ten countries and over twice as many cities. Our headquarters is in San Francisco, with an office available for anyone on the team to use at any time. Weโ€™ll consider your application regardless of where you call home.\n\n\nMATCHA\n\nMatcha is 0x Labsโ€™ first consumer-facing product. Built on top of 0x API, Matcha is a meticulously designed decentralized exchange that makes it safe and easy for anyone in the world to access crypto assets on the Ethereum blockchain. We provide users with the best prices by aggregating liquidity from all of the major decentralized exchanges and splitting/routing orders intelligently. \n\nBy focusing on user experience and education, Matcha will onboard the next wave of users into the DeFi ecosystem. As a Front-End Engineer on the team, youโ€™ll take large and early part in building out this flagship product.\n\nYouโ€™ll work closely alongside:\n\n\n* \nTom Herbert, Matcha's Engineering Manager. Before joining 0x Labs, Tom was the VP of Engineering at Treatment where his team built an AI-powered medical diagnosis engine. Prior to that role, he was CTO at a large socially conscious couponing organization, where he led teams that built applications to connect millions of users to nonprofits across the globe.\n\n* \nAnshu Das, Matcha's Product Lead. Before joining 0x Labs, Anshu was a Senior Product Manager at Spotify, where he was Product Lead for Spotify Wrapped as well as other key product launches. Prior to Spotify, Anshu led growth and core product initiatives at both large companies and startups including Snapchat and Nextdoor.\n\n* A small (and growing) team of world-class engineers, designers, data scientists, marketers and\n\n* Various other teams and stakeholders across 0x Labs\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMATCHA TECH STACK\n\nWe donโ€™t care much about your experience with our stack (or any specific stack); we care far more that someone has solid fundamentals, is generally intelligent, has strong learning agility, and is an overall good human. We understand it takes time to ramp, and weโ€™re happy to invest with the right person if necessary. \n\nThat said, weโ€™re excited about the rapidly evolving tech weโ€™re building on. It includes:\n\n\n* Next.js\n\n* React (we use Hooks heavily!)\n\n* TypeScript\n\n* react-spring and react-use-gesture for high-performance animations and interactions\n\n* styled-components\n\n* AlchemyAPI and ethers 5.0 for interacting with Ethereum\n\n* Vercel for continuous deployment and infrastructure\n\n* Linear for project management\n\n\n\n\n\nRESPONSIBILITIES\n\n\n* Create trustworthy user experiences by building, testing, and shipping features that are simple, intuitive, performant, and reliable\n\n* Own entire features from specification to shipping\n\n* Work effectively with a high degree of autonomy, within a collaboratively minded team\n\n* Keep abreast of the nascent and rapidly evolving blockchain space, and introduce innovative tools and products\n\n* Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams, including engineering (internal and external), design, research, data science, product management, executive leadership, and recruiting\n\n* Be a steward and influencer of our early engineering culture\n\n\n\n\n\nREQUIREMENTS\n\n\n* Bachelor's or equivalent\n\n* Experience with modern JavaScript\n\n* Experience with React\n\n* Experience with CSS/HTML\n\n* Passion for the benefits of decentralization and the 0x mission\n\n\n* Exhibit our core values: do the right thing, consistently ship, and focus on long-term impact\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPREFERRED\n\n\n* Proficiency with TypeScript (Matcha is written completely in strict-mode TypeScript)\n\n* Experience optimizing front-end performance (we take application performance very seriously)\n \n\n\n\n\n\nBENEFITS\n\n\nCompetitive salary and equity with occasional cryptocurrency-based perks\n\nComprehensive insurance (medical/dental/vision/life/disability) โ€” 100% covered for you and dependents\n\n401k, HSA, and FSA for U.S.-based employees\n\nMonthly mobile phone bill, wellness, and pre-tax transportation expense\n\nCovered mental health benefits (included professional therapy sessions)\n\nFlexible hours, liberal work-from-home policy, and a supportive remote environment\n\nLunch reimbursement for all employees across the globe!\n\nStipend for your ideal remote / WFH set-up: laptop, headphones, and any other work gear you may need\n\n12-week paid parental leave\n\nGreat office conveniently located in Soma/East Cut, SF\n\nUnlimited vacation: Take time when you need it (and we really mean it)\n\n\nMultiple annual in-person team meet-ups around the globe \n\n\n\n\n\n0x Labs and its associated entities (0x) are dedicated to fostering diversity, inclusion, and belonging in its teams and workforce, and are proud to be equal opportunity employers. 0x does not make employment or hiring decisions on the basis of race, color, creed, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender, gender expression or identity, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, pregnancy, citizenship, national origin, or any other basis that is protected by applicable local, state, or federal laws. 0x will also consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in a way that is consistent with San Franciscoโ€™s Fair Chance Ordinance and similar local laws.\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n No salary data published by company so we estimated salary based on similar jobs related to Web3, Defi, Crypto, NFT, Ethereum, Typescript, Mobile, Senior and Engineer jobs that are similar:\n\n $70,000 — $130,000/year\n

Staking Rewards is hiring a
Remote Senior Frontend Engineer

\n\n\nIf you havenโ€™t heard of us\n\nStaking Rewards is on a mission. Agency is the strategy, passive income from Crypto is one of our tactics in this strategy. Weโ€™re building tools, platforms and products to help you, ourselves and others to achieve an impactful level of control over their income and help to improve the quality of their investment decisions.\n\nWe serve different kinds of stakeholders, investors, analysts and crypto community members worldwide. The narrative weโ€™re always pushing is Agency. We want you to be in control. โ€‹โ€‹This is why weโ€™re on a mission to increase transparency, reduce entry barriers and enable everyone to become financially independent. We make staking easy & accessible.\n\nLetโ€™s cut to the chase, Staking Rewards is a close-knit team, 20 some members all working remotely, all over the world. Working here means you pick your own timezone, you pick your own vacation days, have as many of them as you see fit, get compensated well, feel comfortable saying โ€œNoโ€ and engage in intelligent dialogues with curious people. The only thing we ask in return is to bring your A-game. Get the job done, with a positive intent and a positive attitude. \n\n\nThe person weโ€™re looking to work with\n\nAn Engineer that values quality over quantity. Has a deep understanding of software design and how to apply design principles on different types of problems. Some call them well-rounded Engineers or 10x Engineers, we simply call them good Engineers. \n\nGood Engineers can learn and adapt. They are creative and curious at all times. \n\nThis is what weโ€™re looking for.\n\nYou will work with familiar technologies, but you will also be expected to work with unfamiliar technologies, you will learn on the job, you will challenge yourself and the status quo. Most importantly, you will be proud of your work. \n\nNevertheless, we expect you have gained a good chuck of experience with different environments in your senior career so far and optimally worked in a React environment last so you can bring your A-game from day one.\n\n\nEngineering at Staking Rewards\n\nIn two words, itโ€™s comfortable chaos. Our systems are constantly changing, evolving and adapting as the business alongside the crypto market does. Engineering in our environment means constantly facing challenges and being resourceful in our solutions. \n\nWe work the problem. An Engineer at Staking Rewards is expected to inquire, communicate expectations and be open to unusual solutions. Our strength comes from our ability to deliver strong, high quality solutions in an ever changing business environment. \n\nWe keep our feedback loops short and always aim to find the best possible solution together as one Engineering team.\n\n\nWhere do you fit in there?\n\nYou become one of the heroes in this saga. An Engineer capable of working on different challenges and storylines.\n\nSome of these challenges weโ€™d like you to focus on are\n\n\n* Building high performing web experiences\n\n* Bringing a strong defensive security mindset to our code and technical practices\n\n* Building for others: other developers on the team, for stakeholders and our users\n\n* Own the full vertical: shape, build, ship, monitor\n\n\n\n\n\nSounds good, what now?\n\n* You send us your application\n\n* \nScreening Interview with one of our team members (30 min)\n\n* Take home coding challenge (max. 5 days)\n\n* Interview Day\n* \nChallenge Recap & Top grading interview with the CTO / Head of Engineering (60-90 min)\n\n* \nFocused peer interviews (3 x 30 min)\n\n\n\n\n* You give us three contacts as a reference that we will reach out to\n\n* You will receive our offer\n\n\n* \nCongratulations, you're part of the Staking Rewards team! ๐Ÿš€\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n No salary data published by company so we estimated salary based on similar jobs related to Design, Crypto, React, Senior, Engineer and Digital Nomad jobs that are similar:\n\n $60,000 — $120,000/year\n \n\n#Location\nRemote Worldwide

Diagram is hiring a
Remote Co Founder & Chief Risk Operations Officer New Venture Risk Team as a Service

Summary\n\nWe are launching a new venture to empower fast-growing financial companies by managing risks and fighting fraudsters in a very novel way. We are looking for a highly operational Chief Risk Operations Officer to bring us there. This person will grow and lead the risk management operations of the venture that will act as the fractional Risk Team for our clients.\n\nPlease note: This is not an employee opportunity at Diagram Ventures, but in a new company created through our venture studio model. This company will be independent of Diagram Ventures, and the founding team will receive the majority of the equity in the venture.\nThe Opportunity\n\nRapid digitization of financial services and the extraordinary competition amongst fintechs is causing major risk management turbulence (the Federal Trade Commission reported 6.1B$ in fraud losses in 2021, up almost 80% from 2020). For fintechs, balancing growth and risks efficiently is a sophisticated and sensitive function that requires expertise, processes and tools. While fraud prevention and AML tools (SaaS, data vendors, etc.) are plenty in the marketplace, Fintechs still need to build multi-disciplinary ops teams (analysts, data science) to monitor traffic and constantly improve their defenses. However, staffing and training a risk team is hardly scalable and very costly. Companies can only implement changes reactively, allowing fraudsters to hop from platform to platform using the same schemes over and over again.\n\nOur newly created company will supply fintechs with out-of-the-box specialized services that will give them immediate access to risk and fraud management best practices and โ€˜playbookโ€™, while also providing them with the highly skilled resources to implement and operate an effective risk department. This will allow them to deliver products and acquire customers quicker and with peace of mind.\n\nThis business will use a mix of human expertise and tech-driven processes and data intelligence tools to deliver value and scale faster.\n\nThe Chief Risk Operations Officer will bring top of the industry risk management (including fraud prevention) best practices and expertise to implement internally. This person will nurture the vision on how to constantly build efficiency internally or on our clientsโ€™ side through technology. As the Chief Risk Operations Officer, the person will be able to represent the company as the top subject matter expert in front of its clients.\nWho we are looking for\n\nWe are assembling the dream team of entrepreneurs, technologists, and financial services specialists, and we are now looking for an accomplished Risk manager to lead the engineering build of our venture. If you are up for it, you will:\n\n\nWork closely with the CEO and CTO to define the companyโ€™s vision and strategy including an operations budget and a hiring plan that matches the growth forecast.\n\nThe CRO will be accountable for the delivery of all services and the underlying operations.\n\nWork alongside the engineering and product teams to constantly improve the quality and efficiency of the organizationโ€™s operations while maintaining the high standards in terms of data protection and privacy.\n\nHire and train a workforce of risk analysts and managers responsible for monitoring our clientโ€™s live traffic.\n\nBuild a business intelligence function able to digest overall data and make recommendations to our clients by building business cases.\n\nEstablish a global and scalable workforce to accommodate 24/7 coverage of our services.\n\nBe hands-on and contribute to the risk management advisory services provided to our clients.\n\nBuild and maintain a proprietary fraud prevention playbook (that will extend to other risk management dimensions eventually) to help productize our services and train new hires.\n\n\n\nBackground and experience\n\n\nHas held senior management roles in risk management departments (preferably fraud prevention) at well established fintechs or financial institutions.\n\nPreferably worked their way up from more technical roles (analyst).\n\nRecognized as a top of the industry subject matter expert in risk management, preferably in fraud prevention.\n\nThe words: account takeovers, AML, synthetic ID, KYC/KYB, behavioral analytics have no secrets to you.\n\nHas worked with engineering, data science and product teams to develop and bring to market risk management products.\n\n\n\nOther desirable assets:\n\n\nA consistent track record in leadership roles: hiring, leading and growing a team, ideally in a start-up or scale-up environment in a founding position.\n\nHas sourced talent internationally and has worked with offshore teams and contractors.\n\n\n\nAbout Diagram Ventures\n\nDiagram is a venture builder that conceives and launches technology companies in the financial, crypto, and climate industries. We've designed a unique platform for entrepreneurs who have a proven track record or domain expertise to start their next business by combining access to venture capital investment, hands-on support, and a vast network of partners and incumbents. Since 2016, Diagram has raised over $205M and launched 13 new companies across North America. Our ecosystem is home to 90+ angel investors, including 45+ entrepreneurs with >$15B in exits and an extended global network of corporate partners, investors, and builders. Notable Diagram portfolio companies include Synctera (Series A), Conduit (Seed) and Dialogue (IPO).\nApplying for this position\n\nDiagram and its portfolio companies are equal opportunity employers. We appreciate your interest in working with us; however, only those applicants selected for interviews will be contacted. Diagram may contact you about other possible opportunities you may be a fit for. We launch five new ventures each year and are continually excited to talk to founders and top talent who want to join us. \n\n#Salary and compensation\n No salary data published by company so we estimated salary based on similar jobs related to Senior and Senior jobs that are similar:\n\n $60,000 — $130,000/year\n

As a result, there are hundreds of moving pieces and no shortage of fascinating challenges across all levels of the stack.\n\nAbove all, Aquabyte is a customer-driven company. Our product development is dictated by the needs of fish farmers and we prioritize customer delight in everything we do. We are committed to build a global, collaborative team that creates value far beyond Silicon Valley.\n\n\nThe role\n\nOur product is entirely dependent on sophisticated machine learning, deep learning, and sophisticated software architectures to create value for fish farmers. As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will use machine learning to extract valuable information from visual features surfaced by deep learning models, and analyze incoming time-series data so that fish farmers make better strategic and operational decisions. Our database of labeled images is growing exponentially. You will be joining our small yet powerful research team, and will work closely alongside engineers with years of industry and academic experience.\n\nWatch our TV episode with Amazon's CTO at a Norwegian fish farm here! https://youtu.be/YZ_qJ5JFD3I\n\nAquabyte is a private company headquartered in San Francisco, and is supported by NEA, Costanoa Ventures, and many other respected investors.\n\nAt Aquabyte, we admire interesting people with a unique background.
