TLDR:  We are looking for a part-time (10-20h / week) content manager, who will oversee the development of our Facebook Ad Creatives and all other marketing assets on ClickMinded.com. Past experience with Facebook ads, direct response marketing and managing content for a $5m+ startup, preferred.

What Is ClickMinded?

ClickMinded is the digital marketing training platform you didn't know you needed. We create world-class online courses, SOPs, checklists and cheat sheets on digital marketing that companies use to train up their teams every day. Companies like Grammarly, WeWork, Volvo, StitchFix and 25,000 other folks you may not have heard of (yet).

Our goal is to get 200,000 people trained by ClickMinded by December 2023 (8x growth), and we go to work every day against some of the most competitive digital marketers in the game.

That’s where you, our shiny new content manager, comes in.

What’s This Job About?

This job is all about leading a team of designers, video editors and developers to deliver ClickMinded’s marketing asset needs, the most important of which are the Facebook/Instagram Creatives (Image and Video), direct response ads and landing pages, and any other assets that might be needed.

You can see the ads we're currently running, here: https://bit.ly/35u6JOd

You can see one of the products we’re running these ads to, here: https://bit.ly/3rUE7Fo

You can see an example of an SOP available in our library, here: https://bit.ly/3rYJVxp

What Are The Expectations?

The person in this role will be expected to:

- Be the single point of contact for design consistency across the company. For the design of new products, new landing pages and new assets, all roads lead to one place: you!
- Come up with fresh conversion-focused creative ideas for Facebook and Instagram ads consistently, every week.
- Take feedback from customers and experiments, and implement those learnings into future tests. (Ability to analyze data independently using Facebook Ads Manager is a big plus)
- Work with our video editors, designers, and agencies to develop new ideas, approve / disapprove creative, landing pages, copy, along with any other assets for new campaigns across different channels.

What Type Of Person Will Succeed?

The ideal candidate has:

- Working proficiency in English
- 2+ years experience managing content, including design work and creating assets or managing a team creating assets.
- Experience with direct response copywriting a massive plus.
- Experience analyzing Facebook Ad results is a massive plus.
- Baseline familiarity with the ecommerce sales funnel, web analytics, email marketing, HTML & CSS.
- Baseline familiarity with design tools like Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud.
- A bias towards speed with a relentless focus on getting new advertising campaigns live as quickly as possible.

Pay & Benefits

- 100% remote
- We work across all time zones (team is based in the US, Europe & Asia)
- Competitive salary based on experience
- A home office and learning & development budget for everyone on the team

About the role

Our team of 2 copywriters is responsible for everything we write here at komoot, from the words that go on to fill our apps, to the messages that make up our marketing campaigns. And now — as the komoot community continues to grow and the number of internal product squads increases — we are looking for an additional member to join our Copy Team to support the development of new features. You will be responsible for writing product, UX, and campaign copy, and championing komoot’s tone of voice across our suite of apps and websites.

Join us and help us ensure we continue to provide best-in-class user experiences to all who use our apps and websites and support our localization team to translate all content into 11+ languages. Become an impactful member of our copy team, help steer design decisions and feature development, deliver campaign copy for sales and marketing initiatives, and help make adventure accessible to all.

Ready for your next adventure?

What will you do:

  • Work collaboratively across multiple product squads to level up our UX copy across our mobile apps, website, and all of our third-party apps.
  • Lead user research projects to empirically assess the quality of our copy and help us make better decisions as a team.
  • Champion komoot’s tone of voice and internal style manuals to protect the consistency of our copy across all channels.
  • Lead briefings and work closely with our pool of localizers to effectively translate/transcreate our words into 11+ additional languages.
  • Work with the copy team, Catherine and Craig, on continuous improvement tasks to ensure the words we publish are industry leading.
  • Create channel and target group specific content and write engaging, easy to understand copy.

Why you will love it:

  • Your words will deliver user experiences that’ll inspire millions of cyclists, hikers, and outdoor enthusiasts all over the world. You’ll work on projects at the forefront of navigation technology in conjunction with teams of experts in their fields.
  • You’ll play a key role in shaping our messaging and the way people perceive komoot.
  • You’ll join an experienced team of copywriters in which you can exchange ideas and learn together.
  • You’ll be a part of a fast-paced startup with strongly motivated and talented co-workers.
  • We let you work from wherever you want, be it a beach, the mountains, your house, or anywhere else that lies in any time zone between UTC-1 and UTC+3.
  • You’ll travel together with our team to amazing outdoor places several times a year to exchange ideas, learnings, and go for hikes and rides.

You will be successful in this position if you:

  • Have 3+ years of experience as a UX writer or copy editor as part of an in-house design team.
  • Know how to write original copy that improves user experiences and enriches how people react with products.
  • Possess a holistic understanding of how UX and marketing copy can best co-exist.
  • Have hands-on experience with product storytelling and crafting channel and target-group specific copy.
  • Possess flawless communication skills and the ability to explain your processes/ideas to the broader team.
  • Are able to juggle multiple projects in parallel, working across multiple squads and to varying deadlines.
  • Have proven knowledge and interest in the cycling and outdoor market and their respective customer segments.
  • Are keen to hone your skills in all things UX and product copywriting and dive deep into what-can-sometimes-be technical topics.
  • Possess native level English skills with excellent grammatical, writing and editorial capabilities.
  • Have a hands-on attitude, are highly self-driven and have a sharp eye for detail.

**TLDR:** We're looking for a technical content marketer that is obsessed with digital marketing, annoyingly detail-oriented, loves creating walkthroughs with screenshots and wants to help build the most useful library of marketing tutorials in the world.\n\n\n**What Is ClickMinded?**\n\nClickMinded is the digital marketing training platform you didn't know you needed. We create world-class online courses, SOPs, checklists and cheatsheets on digital marketing that companies use to train up their teams every day. Companies like Grammarly, WeWork, Volvo, StitchFix and 10,000 other folks you may not have heard of (yet).\n\nOur goal is to get 100,000 people trained by ClickMinded before December 2022 (9x growth), and we go to work every day against some of the most competitive digital marketers in the game.\n\nThat’s where you, our shiny new technical content marketer, come in.\n\n\n**What’s This Job About?**\n\nThis job is all about creating content for our most successful product, [The ClickMinded SOP Library](https://www.clickminded.com/sop-library/).\n\nIf you're unfamiliar, SOP stands for standard operating procedure, which is really just a fancy way to say an extremely comprehensive checklist. The ClickMinded SOP library is a massive archive of templates, checklists and cheatsheets that our users use to execute extremely specific digital marketing tasks, both for their clients and within their own teams.\n\nSOPs can vary, from simple, 3-page walkthroughs, to massive 50+ page guides, to customizable google sheet templates, and everything in-between.\n\nWe let our users customize, modify and brand these templates and make them their own, and then pass them off to their own customers, so the development of the original templates is extremely important.\n\nHere's a few examples of SOPs currently available in the library:\n\n* [How to Perform a Social Media Audit](https://docs.google.com/document/d/16MYYZ-i9RAIN1jxAXzKjW9oKzSOuzJVa-Hi9ih7GveU/edit?usp=sharing)\n* [How to Create a Lookalike Audience on Facebook](https://docs.google.com/document/d/17PY3r2KHgmqfQw17forgdh19dxJWbtf39MA4ZtEYy9U/edit?usp=sharing)\n\n\nAs of today, we have 100+ SOPs, and we're looking to 3x this by December 31, 2021.\n\nThe development of these SOPs requires experience and interest in digital marketing, along with a willingness and hunger to learn more every day. If you’re the type of person who wanders around the Internet constantly signing up for new tools, opting in to email lists to understand their funnel, or viewing the source of webpages just because you’re curious, **please stop what you're doing and apply right now.**\n\n\n**Day-To-Day, You'll Be:**\n\n* Running our most popular, most successful product, the ClickMinded SOP Library\n* Writing new SOPs from scratch with detailed instructions and lots of useful screenshots\n* Keeping old SOPs up-to-date, from small cosmetic changes to massive rewrites of the process\n* Listening to our customer's problems and creating SOPs that solve them\n* Proposing new SOPs and then executing on your own strategy\n\n\n**Who We Need**\n\nThis is a unique role that requires someone with substantial experience in technical content marketing, experience in digital marketing and an insatiable desire to learn even more, every single day. \n\nThe ideal candidate has:\n\n* At least 2+ years experience doing some form of digital marketing professionally\n* A deep understanding of technical content marketing: you enjoy writing and have published popular, high-traffic posts in the past.\n* A baseline understanding and familiarity with the e-commerce sales funnel\n* A baseline understanding of content marketing, SEO, web analytics, email marketing & paid ads\n* A baseline understanding of SOPs and process optimization (recommended books: The E-Myth and Work The System)\n* A bias towards speed and a relentless focus on getting content published and live on the site.\n\n\n**Pay & Benefits**\n\n* Competitive salary based on experience\n* Ability to create and launch content that 250,000+ people per year will use\n* Unlimited learning and development budget for everyone on the team \n\nBe sure to mention the words **SOCIAL NOBLE EXTEND** when applying to show you read the job post completely. RNDQuMjAwLjQwLjE5NQ==. This is a beta feature to avoid spam applicants. # Contracting to Full-Time\n\nThe cool part about this job is you can work when you want and where you want. As long as you meet the deadlines, and the quality of your work is good - we don't care. Work from 10 PM to midnight, or work during the day - it doesn't matter to us.\n\nThis job is very flexible and fun. For the right person, it's a great way to make a nice chunk of change on the side.\n\nOther similar writers working for us earn in the range of $600-2,500 per month. It all depends on how much work you want to take. Writers who excel and stand out are often offered higher paying full-time positions with F+W. Show us what you can do.\n\n# Required skill set and experience:\n\n### If you do not fit these Hard Requirements this job is probably not for you. You're busy, we're busy. Lets not waste time.\n\n* **You must be a native English speaker and writer. US-only! ** Attention to detail is everything at F+W.\n\n* You must use this quote exactly as its written here (without quotes) "Go F+W" in the subject line or we will click the spam button on your application.\n\n* You must be able to write sales pages, landing pages and opt-in pages. (If you don't know what those are... this job probably isn't for you.)\n\n* You must be savvy enough to quickly research and write on any topic.\n\n* You should be somewhat familiar with internet marketing techniques - this a large portion of our client base.\n\n* You should be familiar with social media and how to post on all types of social media.\n\n* You must have a natural intuition on how to "sell with words" AKA be a little bit of a natural salesperson.\n\n* You must tell us in your email if you like M&M's. We will spam button any emails missing this.\n\n* You must be responsive, prompt and never miss deadlines.\n\n* You must have excellent grammar.\n\n* You must be able to work under tight deadlines and pressure.\n\n* You need to be an out of the box thinker. Someone that doesn't just write boring articles and regurgitate the same old information and ways of writing... but can actually put some personality into their writing. Someone that can look at a website and say, "this layout is completely wrong, you need it to look like this, and say this!!", or "This is terrible... you need to split this paragraph into two sections, give each a catchy headline and maybe even add some bullet points to clearly show what you offer."\n\n* You need to be honest. NO Plagiarism. Clients use our content for SEO, and any duplicate copy gets dinged by Google. Plus, it's lame to say you wrote something when you didn't. (And I shouldn't even have to say that...)\n\n## Bonus Points for:\n\n* Ability to write on more technical and corporate topics. Areas like finance, business, technology, medical, etc... We're landing more corporate clients, and this is a big need for us!\n\n* Familiarity with the StoryBrand Framework.\n\n* A desire to work in Digital Marketing outside just the content creation side of things.\n\n* Experience using Monday, Smartsheets, or Asana\n\n# Things you will write\n\n* Sales Pages\n\n* Landing Pages\n\n* Opt-in Pages\n\n* Amazon Product Descriptions\n\n* Facebook ads\n\n* Website content\n\n* Brochures\n\n* Flyers\n\n* Technical Reports\n\n* Emails\n\n* Taglines and Slogans\n\n* Social media posts\n\n* Blog posts\n\n* Articles\n\n* Reports\n\n* Product Packaging\n\n* Basically... if a business needs words for anything... we write it. \n\nBe sure to mention the words **ABLE FETCH HAMMER** when applying to show you read the job post completely.
