They will provide direct patient care for adults living with functional GI disorders (like IBS), collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and participate in the refinement of the SideBy Care approach to care delivery.The ideal candidate is skilled in providing psychological services to patients with GI conditions and associated behavioral health concerns and consulting with medical providers.\n\n \n\nNOTE: This is a Part-Time Position and while remote, you must be located and licensed in the state of Pennsylvania.\n\n \n\nEssential Job Functions and Responsibilities\n\n \n\nIn this role, you will:\n\n\n* As part of our integrated team, you will implement SideBy Care’s Gut-Brain therapy program to help patients with functional GI disorders to reduce their symptoms, create new health beliefs and behaviors, and develop new coping strategies to manage stress\n\n* Apply brain-gut psychotherapy interventions (primarily CBT) and other clinical therapy interventions as needed via telehealth appointments according to SideBy Care’s GI specific protocols\n\n* Assess patient eligibility for SideBy Care program participation given its unique holistic approach and virtual delivery model \n\n* Collaborate with medical providers, GI-focused dietitians, and leadership to build and maintain a cohesive, patient-focused environment.\n\n* At times, provide education related to the provision of gut-brain interventions to partnered medical providers, patient support groups, and community education forums (as needed). Assist in creating patient education materials.\n\n* Maintain clinical and coding knowledge in an evolving healthcare environment.
