The ad-tech/mar-tech space is messy, and our goal is to simplify business challenges through best-in-class platform solutions. \n\nThe Senior Data Technology Engineer will own relationships with stakeholders and various client-side departments to oversee design, development, and utilization of data for digital analytics platforms such as Google Analytics and will assist with the management and implementation of DMPs, CDPs, MTAs, media tracking and tag management platforms. The ideal candidate will be able to lead projects and help support the team in the implementation, validation and ongoing support of various tracking and tag management platforms.\n\nAs a part of our Data Solutions team - we are looking for a candidate who is innately curious about the role that technology and AI plays in helping our clients meet the needs of change in todayโs world. You believe that built-for-purpose solutions, not just platforms, are the way to tackle challenges around automation, media & creative activation, and measurement. In this role, youโll have the opportunity to shape what a best-in-class Data Solutions practice will look like within a leading digital agency, and help lead the development of our partnership and collaboration with major tech players like Google, Amazon, Meta, among many others. \n\nYouโll be responsible for:\n\n\n* Distilling client business objectives into meaningful and purpose-built solutions\n\n* Lead and own projects in their entirety, including, but not limited to, creating project plans and documentation, communicating progress and roadblocks to internal and external stakeholders, and seeing projects through to completion.\n\n* Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for digital transformation, leveraging data and analytics tools to enhance operational efficiency, client satisfaction, and business growth\n\n* Lead data onboarding processes, ensuring compatibility and effectiveness in digital campaigns.\n\n* Configure and maintain tag management systems for optimal data capture and analysis via platforms such as but not limited to Google Tag Manager, Tealium, Segment, etc.\n\n* Assist with technical/tag audits of clients websites and present findings/recommendations to stakeholders in a well-designed, clear and actionable fashion.\n\n* Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in the advertising and digital marketing industry, particularly those related to ad-tech and mar-tech, cloud, creative, and analytics platforms\n\n* Evaluate and enhance data quality, analytics capabilities, and reporting methodologies.\n\n* Collaborate with clients to develop and refine data strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives.\n\n* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including client partners, activation specialists, planning & strategy, and creative, to implement and integrate digital transformation initiatives effectively for DEPT clients\n\n* Support and manage relationships with key vendors, ensuring optimal service levels and value for the agency\n\n* Evaluate and select external vendors and technology partners as needed, ensuring they align with the agency's needs and can support digital transformation initiatives\n\n\n\n\nYouโll need to have:\n\n\n* 3+ years of relevant web and digital analytics experience.\n\n* Deep understanding of current data privacy regulations and compliance.\n\n* Ability to lead complex projects and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.\n\n* Candidate must possess the ability to identify business growth opportunities and develop strategic recommendations to support the growth of client relationships.\n\n* Expertise in the Ad-tech and Web Analytics (e.g Google Analytics) space, Data Management (e.g Adobe Audience Manager, Oracle DMP, Lotame), Attribution, and privacy tools.\n\n* Experience with Cloud Databases (e.g Snowflake, Big Query) and SQL\n\n* Certifications in Google Marketing Platform, public cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), data privacy, or related areas are preferred.\n\n* Expert-level experience with Tag Management platforms (e.g Adobe DTM, GTM, Tealium).\n\n* Expert in custom JavaScript for data collection platform implementation.\n\n\n\n\nAdditional things that will impress us:\n\n\n* Experience w/ AI tools to develop and automate client solutions (ML, NLP, CV, Data mining, Data science) \n\n* Experience with Data Clean Rooms (ADH, Habu, InfoSum, Amazon, etc) \n\n* Experience with Cookie Solutions such as Cookie Bot, OneTrust, etc.\n\n\n\n\n \n\nWHAT DO WE OFFER?\n\nWe are a collaborative, open-door, best-idea-wins environment that fosters personal and company growth and has fun doing it. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, expertise, physical location, and organizational impact. This is based on a 40-hour workweek and leveling.
