To do so, we utilize a variety of programming languages and platforms. Our services are written in Go, Scala and Elixir running on the Google Cloud Platform (App Engine and Kubernetes) and are tied together via REST, GraphQL, gRPC and PubSub. We utilize Cloud SQL and Cloud Firestore as our transactional data services. For monitoring and logging, we rely heavily on Loki and Grafana. For data processing, analysis and reporting we use Google Dataflow, BigQuery, DataStudio and Tableau. Our front-end is written in JavaScript (ES6) and built around React and Redux. All our teams are full-stack oriented and are responsible for a particular domain end-to-end. In this particular role, you will mostly work with back-end services written in Go either running on AppEngine or on Kubernetes, but you will also work with monitoring, logging and data processing/analysis. \nWe're looking for a talented software developer to work on the server-side of our music delivery service: music ingestion and delivery, analytics collection and reporting, and web services used by our clients and curation team. Your goal will be to help us power sound everywhere. \n\nYou will need to form a full understanding of our data model, how we map our music providers’ schemas to it, and how we expose it to our clients. You will be working with our primary data stores: MySQL, ElasticSearch and Google BigTable. You will work on all our backend services, written primarily in Node.js, along with PHP and Bash scripts.\n\nYou will work hand-in-hand with our current engineering team, music curators, customer support, and product team to define and develop whatever is needed to advance our business. Queue is a fast-growing startup based in Denmark. Queue is very simply described a music app which changes the way in which we listen to music together (http://queue-app.com) \n\nAs a Backend Developer for Queue, you will be working together with me building our new Backend system which is built with Apollo Server, Sequelize and PostgreSQL. Queue is also currently using a node.js server for running Spotify cron jobs (a song timer and etc.). All of that logic you will help build on Google Cloud Functions instead for better scalability.
