Tailorbird, Inc. is hiring a
Remote Principal Full Stack Developer

About the Company\n\nTailorbird's vision is to organize any renovation, instantly. Within the multifamily real estate industry, our mission is to earn the trust of owners, contractors, and suppliers to help them move faster, remove risks, and improve outcomes. We're backed by NFX, Bloomberg Beta, Fifth Wall, Moderne Ventures, FJ Labs, and Kleiner Perkins.\n\nWeโ€™re building the โ€œEasy Buttonโ€ for elegant home renovations, using analytics and automation to accelerate acquisition and renovation of large multi-family assets. Our proprietary software extracts deep digital models of interior residential spaces using publicly available data, and we use this data to accurately estimate budgets and identify project risks upfront, thus avoiding costly execution delays and rework costs. We are currently in hyper-growth mode and proud to have some of the largest and most reputable owners, contractors, and suppliers as our customers in the US!\n\nWeโ€™re a global organization with distributed teams in the US, Latin America and India, and our HQ is located on the campus of Princeton University in Princeton, NJ.\nAbout the Role\n\nYou will be our principal full-stack developer for Tailorbird web and mobile applications.  You will be a senior leader working across scrum teams and responsible for designing and implementing new component and services. You will be a player-coach with a track record of recruiting and building high performance feature teams. This is the most senior technical role in our organization. You will closely work with a talented team of other senior developers and the chief architect to build highly responsive web and mobile applications. As an early hire in a fast-growing startup, you will have a tremendous opportunity to grow as a leader, responsible for both product delivery and organizational growth. Our tech stack consists of ReactJS and NodeJS with MongoDB and PostgreSQL  as storage.  We also use Python for data-intensive server side services. \nThis role is remote in India.\nYouโ€™ll Get To\n\n\n* Architect and design new components and services for the Tailorbird Platform\n\n* Develop end2end  application logic using React.js, Node.js with Typescript or Python\n\n* Closely work with product managers, business operation associates, senior developers, and the chief architect to influence product engineering decisions\n\n* Closely work with key business leaders to understand product roadmaps and continuously evaluate Tailorbird design choices\n\n\n\nWeโ€™re Looking For\n\n\n* 6+ years of full stack web and mobile application development experience, with at least 3 years as a player-coach responsible for direct hiring and growing the team.\n\n* BS/MS from a tier-1 college or university with CS/CES/EE as a major is highly desired.\n\n* Proven track record of referenceable, successful mentees.\n\n* Experience building enterprise class applications on AWS cloud infrastructure.\n\n* Demonstrable ability to quickly master new frameworks.\n\n* Excellent soft skills - you are a naturally charismatic, thoughtful communicator who is practiced in influencing others and obtaining stakeholder buy-in.\n\n\n\nWhy Tailorbird \n\nOur Founders are experienced entrepreneurs and Fortune 100 executives with proven operating experience to launch and scale new ventures, and a history of successful company exits. We have deep domain expertise in at-scale SaaS platforms, Deep Learning and Analytics, Construction Operations, Commercial Real Estate Acquisitions, and Renovation Design and Architecture. \n\nMost importantly, we know that Tailorbirdโ€™s people are what make our product exceptional. When we approach a problem or create a solution, we rely on our values to guide us.\n\n\nNoble Intent โ€“ We assume everyone has good intentions. We build trust by doing what we say, and saying what we do. \n\nLevel of Excellence โ€“ Building technology and process to drive the fastest operational edge that redefines expectations.\n\nTeamwork โ€“ We collaborate, mentor, and facilitate transparent decision making. Once made, decisions are supported.\n\nTrust โ€“ To earn, and keep, the trust of every stakeholder whereby information is shared transparently for faster and fairer decisions.\n\nDiversity โ€“ Going to any extent to enrich ourselves through expertise, critical thinking, and global perspectives.\n\n\n\n\nReasons to consider not taking this role at Tailorbird:\n\nPlease note: We value transparency and we intend to set expectations accurately. Working at Tailorbird is a thrilling journey and we want to ensure this is a fit for both you and our team.\n\n\n* Typically, early-stage startup teams work based on goals, not time sheets. This is not a "clock in, clock out" type of environment. You are expected to balance the freedom of flexible working hours with the responsibility of delivering on time and excellent work.\n\n* Startup environments will undoubtedly test your tolerance for ambiguity. We don't always have the answer. Sometimes, you'll be given a high-level objective and you will need to devise a plan to execute on time.\n\n* Building a product requires inner calm and motivation: the ability to not grow frustrated if a process changes or a mistake is made is critical for success. \n\n\n\nBenefit & Perks\n\n\nOpportunity for equity in an early-stage, venture-backed company.\n\nOpen PTO policy\n\nCompany-paid medical/dental/vision insurance for employees and dependents.\n\n\n\nTailorbird is an equal opportunity employer committed to providing all employees with a work environment free of discrimination and harassment. RabbitHole is hiring a
Remote Senior Full stack Engineer

\nAt RabbitHole, our mission is to increase global economic opportunity by making crypto more accessible and meritocratic. Weโ€™re doing that by making it easy for protocols to distribute their tokens to users. We believe that by helping protocols solve token distribution, weโ€™ll not only make crypto protocols more sustainable, but also help anyone in the world earn income through provable contribution rather than their background or credentials. \n\nRabbitHole has created an efficient way for protocols to distribute tokens by segmenting users based on on-chain & off-chain data. By completing on-chain tasks in various protocols, users build their on-chain resume, and earn token ownership.\nWhat problem are we solving?Protocols are constantly looking for new ways to find and engage users, but donโ€™t have an easy way to do so. Tokens of these protocols often fall in the hands of speculators who sit on centralized exchanges, rather than users of these networks. On the other hand, new users in crypto have a difficult time in knowing where to start on their crypto journey and donโ€™t know who to trust. \nWhy are we solving this problem?By making it more efficient for protocols to distribute their token to network participants, we are both driving more participation to protocols and making it easier for users to increase their ownership in protocols rather than speculators. By increasing the number of token holders who are using the network, we are making the underlying protocol more sustainable, and putting more money in the pockets of users. \nWhy are we different?RabbitHole is a group of crypto-natives who have years of experience in crypto. Compared to other crypto projects, weโ€™re not building another Metaverse or protocol for risk โ€” weโ€™re focused on helping serve existing decentralized protocols and get their tokens in the hands of the right token holders. We believe in the potential of what crypto stands for and can become, but we know that today thereโ€™s a lot to improve. Weโ€™re playing the long game.\nJoin us for the revolution:We have years of runway to grow and support you on your journey. Founded in 2020, RabbitHole has raised $20M+ in funding, most recently in an announced Series A round in January 2022. We are backed by the best top tier crypto VCs like Electric Capital and traditional VCs like Greylock.\nWe're looking for product-obsessed individuals with early-stage startup experience who want to work with a dynamic fast-moving team and build the roadmap for RabbitHole to become the best way for protocols to distribute their token and engage their users. If this is you, we are super excited to meet you and learn more.\nHow you'd be helping onboard the next wave of crypto users:\n\n\n\n* Working with a cross-functional team of engineers and designers to build products that help onboard new users to protocols\n\n* Owning the implementation of features throughout their entire lifecycle from ideation to ship\n\n* Being an advocate of engineering practices and initiatives that keep code-quality while still maintaining an overall high team velocity\n\n* You love a fast-paced, use-case centric, product development team and will architect, develop, and test and deploy features at a rapid, iterative pace\n\n\n\nWho you are:\n\n\n\n* You are passionate about building and taking things from Zero to One\n\n* You value collaboration as much as writing good, clean code\n\n* You make the effort to design and write code that is scalable, performant, and easy for your teammates to build upon and maintain\n\n* You have made significant technological decisions and stuck around to deal with the consequences\n\n* You have built something end to end and have (or had) users actively engaging with it\n\n\n\nQualifications: \n\n\n\n* 4+ years of experience in a software engineering role working with a team in a production environment\n\n* Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field or equivalent experience\n\n* Strong communication and collaboration skills\n\n* Ability to write meaningful, well-tested code\n\n* Proficiency in Javascript/React\n\n* Can estimate, design, and build a large epic end-to-end\n\n* Ability to bring your latest and greatest learning and tell us why we should use them tomorrow\n\n\n\nResponsibilities/duties: \n\n\n\n* Work closely with the engineering team to architect and build a robust system of infrastructure to support our growing userbase\n\n* Taking an idea from zero to one then from one to scale\n\n* Design and write code that is scalable, performant, and easy for your teammates to build upon and maintain\n\n* Collaborate with top crypto projects in the space to develop features that suit their needs to help them find the right users\n\n* Jump into multiple parts of the codebase across the frontend, backend & smart contracts\n\n* Spearhead the QA process to ensure code is of the highest quality\n\n* Ensure the safety of users by deploying rigorous security standards throughout the development stack\n\n\n\nNice to haves\n\n\n\n* Knowledge of and passion for crypto applications / Ethereum\n\n* Worked at an early stage startup\n\n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n No salary data published by company so we estimated salary based on similar jobs related to Design, Crypto, Senior, Engineer, Backend and Digital Nomad jobs that are similar:\n\n $60,000 — $120,000/year\n \n\n#Location\nWorldwide

Protocol Labs is hiring a
Remote Director of Marketing

\n\nAbout Protocol Labs\n\nProtocol Labs drives breakthroughs in computing to push humanity forward. Protocol Labs is a product-development lab, but behind the protocols and tools we build, behind the research and implementations, are passionate people, teammates, and community members. Most teams in the Protocol Labs Network are fully distributed and work remotely around the world. Engineers, researchers, and operators work in the open to improve the internet โ€” humanity's most important technology โ€” as we explore new advances at the intersection of many exciting fields (web3, cryptography, networks, distributed systems) and cultures (startups, research, open-source, distributed work).\nAbout Outercore\n\nOutercore is the division of Protocol Labs that leads technical, business, and community programs to build the future of p2p distributed networks and empower our many communities โ€“ from decentralized web developers, to browsers, to blockchain projects, to data storage hosts. Everything Outercore does is open source. Weโ€™re comfortable sharing unfinished work and trying out new things. The goal is to come up with solutions the entire ecosystem can benefit from. \nAs a Director of Marketing in Outercore, you willโ€ฆ\n\n\nLead all efforts to amplify IPFS, Filecoin, and all of Protocolโ€™s projects by overseeing the planning, development, and execution of marketing, branding, thought leadership, growth, and advertising.\n\nPlay a key role in all growth initiatives and have leadership in areas that range from creative influence to business strategy.\n\nBe the chief storyteller and act both as the architect and steward of the initiatives by telling the brand stories and inviting consumers, developers, and partners to participate in the journey.\n\nServe as a customer champion to align the entire organization around its mission of improving all of our lives through technology.\n\nBuild, coach, and scale the geographically distributed marketing team with a global strategic view.\n\nGrow the current team by 2-3x this year, with a strong focus on senior hires, including Senior Content Lead, Senior PR Lead, and Senior Digital Marketing Lead.\n\nOversee and lead all aspects of marketing as Protocol Labs transitions from a centralized marketing function to a model where marketing leaders are embedded in different projects and products.\n\nAudit the current state of the marketing organization and create a clear strategy and clear dashboards/metrics for success. Manage the execution of a highly structured marketing plan in a precise manner. Ensure all department goals align and all targets are being met.\n\nUtilize a variety of marketing strategies/campaigns tailored to different projects/products, including traditional media (i.e., TV), digital media, content, public relations, events (especially those highlighting the organizationโ€™s thought leadership), performance marketing, and regionalization/localization.\n\nLead marketing efforts to three distinct but complementary audiences: consumers, developers, and enterprises.\n\nLead internal marketing efforts to the existing, passionate Protocol Labs community and external marketing efforts to target customer bases and the Web3 community.\n\nProvide the voice of the customer to drive innovation, map customer demand, and build a business around where customers are going.\n\nEnsure brand and consumer experience remain consistent across Protocol Labsโ€™ earned, owned, and paid footprint.\n\nChampion in-depth data analytics combined with customer/stakeholder insights to provide a robust understanding of the current market and its future direction.\n\nEstablish and communicate marketing goals and strategies and overall execution of marketing initiatives, with a particular focus on the continuous expansion of Protocol Labsโ€™ products and services, fulfilling Protocol Labsโ€™ purpose and protecting Protocol Labsโ€™ core values.\n\nAct as a highly organized leader with strong communication and relationship-building skills, demonstrating keen emotional intelligence, charisma, influence, and integrity.\n\nDevelop and manage the marketing budget and set the direction for allocation of marketing resources across the company.\n\nAssist in creating and presenting the marketing plan and strategy across the enterprise. Determine KPIs for the Marketing Department, provide oversight and execution of effective campaigns, ensure that costs are fully justified by growth objectives and revenue goals, and maintain/expand a metrics-based approach to spending.\n\nOversee third-party marketing vendors, including Protocol Labsโ€™ existing agency partners.\n\nMaintain a leadership role in the industry by speaking at and attending relevant industry events and ensuring internal resources are developed and serve as educators and ambassadors as appropriate.\n\nProduce high quality content that positions Protocol Labs as an industry thought leader, including podcasts, tweets, whitepapers, case studies, webinars, blogs, etc.\n\nEffectively understand the competitive environment and Protocol Labsโ€™ unique value-add to support growth.\n\n\n\nYou may be a fit for this role if youโ€ฆ\n\n\n10+ years related experience in marketing and management, including digital marketing. Previous experience with a high growth/complex business, blockchain, or technology-related company preferred.\n\nExperience (and continued interest in) working with a lean team and playing an active role in company growth. Demonstrated experience scaling an organization with significant growth across multiple verticals.\n\nAbility and willingness to create processes and procedures from scratch.\n\nExperience with community building (i.e., storytelling, creating a shared narrative, aligning different product owners, etc.). Experience working with developer communities, preferred.\n\nExperience with metrics-based marketing.\n\nProven management and leadership experience over a creative team. Ability to establish structure, assign and manage teams, and keep them focused and accountable. Ability to coach team members and grow them into more senior roles.\n\nAbility to effectively organize, prioritize, take ownership, strategically plan, and consistently produce deliverables on time.\n\nProven experience and success across multiple verticals and disciplines of marketing (product marketing, branding, social media, performance marketing), internal communications, and business development.\n\nExceptional knowledge of marketing best practices and platforms.\n\nClear, effective communication skills to support collaboration and keep the management team well informed.\n\nHands-on leader experienced in shaping the strategic vision and effectively communicating that vision throughout the organization and to customers through marketing plans.\n\nStrength of character and ability to understand and bring together sometimes diverging interests of company stakeholders in the best interest of the organization as a whole.\n\nAs a member of the companyโ€™s management team, the Director of Marketing is expected to exemplify the highest standards of personal and professional integrity. S/he should be a values-based leader who can build and maintain a high integrity culture.\n\nRespected leader who can assess, retain, and develop talent as well as attract industry experts to support strategic initiatives.\n\nExperience โ€œspeaking the languageโ€ of a cutting-edge tech community and willingness to learn the nuances of the crypto world.\n\n\n\nBonus pointsโ€ฆ\n\n\nIf you have experience working in web3\n\nIf you have worked on projects in the future of work space\n\n\n\nWhatโ€™s it like to work at Protocol Labs?\n \nProtocol Labs' mission is to improve humanityโ€™s most important technology, the Internet. We build protocols, systems, and tools to improve how it works. Today, we are focused on how we store, locate, and move information. Our projects include IPFS, Filecoin, libp2p, and more.\n \nAs a distributed team, we hire anywhere in the world, and at various levels of experience (entry, senior, staff). We look for people with unique perspectives and diverse backgrounds.\n \nWe have a great benefits package, including parental leave, contributions to your retirement, competitive pay, and unlimited time off. For U.S.-based employees, we also provide platinum-level health, dental, and vision coverage for you and your family.\n\nIf youโ€™re passionate about the future of computing and a more democratized internet, we want to talk to you.\n\n \n\nGDPR for Job Applicants and Candidates\n\nWhen you apply to a job on this site, the personal data contained in your application will be collected by Protocol Labs, Inc. (โ€œProtocol Labsโ€), which is located at 427 N Tatnall St #51207, Wilmington, Delaware 19801 and can be contacted by emailing legalrequests[at]protocol.ai.
