About The Opportunity
The Principal Service Consultant guides the overall design and delivery of the Ceridian HCM solution to meet customer requirements and provides oversight and direction to project team members in the execution of project activities in all stages of the implementation lifecycle (planning, discovery, design, configuration, testing, deployment, post go-live support). The Principal Service Consultant works closely with the Project Manager to plan the project and identify critical dependencies. Project responsibilities include; facilitation of customer requirements gathering, design of the Ceridian solution to meet documented customer requirements, setting and managing customer expectations, providing guidance and design/configuration oversight to other project resources, identifying risks and communicating issues to the Project Manager.

Oversees the preparation of design specifications, analysis and recommendations.\n\n* Ensures all software solutions and enhancements are fully tested, debugged and meet product quality standards prior to release to QA. \n\n* Ensures all projects are delivered on time, within budget and within a high level of corporate quality standards. Ensures all reported system issues are resolved.\n\n* Ensures technology solutions support the needs of the customer and/or organization.\n\n* Coordinates work and services with other departments, contract service providers, and vendors.\n\n* Determines practicality of ideas based on projected costs and sales potential.\n\n* Performs continuous review of technologies, industry standards and industry-related developments and makes recommendations relative to the need for further research and associated changes.\n\n* Provides consistent leadership to each individual; sets objectives; reviews performance, produces career development plans, and addresses concerns.\n\n* May serve on Product Review Committees, Technology Review Committees and/or other committees, as required.\n\n* May manage vendor relationships.\n\n* May oversee activities relating to website development and management such as the development of websites and applications, ensuring functionality of websites and building software applications to provide the technical architecture of the site, user interfaces, and back-end database.\n\n* May serve as an expert on software architecture and programming principles.\n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
